Title: In the Beginning
Description: ..there was light..? o.o;

kitsunaii - July 29, 2008 11:10 PM (GMT)
Riku walked silently alongside her floating companion. "Vincent. Scout ahead, and warn me of anything important." She spoke calmly and softly, knowing that the route was full of dangerous Pokemon. Her Pokemon nodded his floating head and went quickly went forward through the air. When he returned, he looked like he had seen something spooky. With a grin, Riku ran ahead, hoping for a good dark Pokemon to add to her roster.

Jokers Wild - July 29, 2008 11:15 PM (GMT)
You kept running and running looking for something, but the area seemed so darked you couldnt count your fingers if they were right in front of your face.

"Dang!" You shouted as you began to stop and catch your breathe. The area was spooky, but it was just the place to find your dark pokemon. After a few moments of catching your breathe, you continued running down the path.

Running and running you were, until finally..WHAM!!! You had tripped over something in the night, and fell onto the ground.

"This is not my night..ow.." You said as you rubbed your head in pain. You looked around as you didnt exactly have the kind of energy to get up just yet after running for such a long time.

After a few minutes, you began to stand up as you felt a tickling on your leg. You reached out and felt a small weird object you had never felt before. You reached to your side, and found what you thought was a rock and tossed it at the object.

"Rak!" You heard as the rock had hit and knocked the object off onto the ground.

It was a [sprite]spinarak[/sprite] Lv.5

kitsunaii - July 30, 2008 03:43 PM (GMT)
Riku grinned. "That didn't take long." she stated, standing back up. "Vincent, go. Hit it with Hypnosis. If it works, use Lick." Vincent "nodded" and obeyed, sending hypnotic waves to attempt to put the Spinarak to sleep.

Shadow of Regice - July 30, 2008 04:08 PM (GMT)
The spinarak dodged the hypnosis, and then used string shot on your companion! It was slowed down by all of the silk that is hindering it!

kitsunaii - July 30, 2008 04:18 PM (GMT)
"Miff.. Lick it anyway, Vincent." Riku glared at the offending Spinarak. She wanted to catch it, but to slow her only Pokemon.. meh. It would still make a nice addition to her team, if she could capture it. She'd probably name it, too.

Akehoshi - July 30, 2008 05:32 PM (GMT)
Gastly quickly slowly floated over and licked Spinarak up and down with its long, ghostly tounge, doing some damage! However, the Spikirak used a Poison sting on the ghost's tounge, doing a bit of damage back! :P

kitsunaii - July 30, 2008 05:35 PM (GMT)
"Gaaastly!" wailed Vincent. "Gass.."
"Aw, you're okay, Vin. Use Hypnosis next, alright?" Riku smiled at her Pokemon. He'd need to be tough to thrive at Riku's side.

Shadow of Regice - July 30, 2008 07:00 PM (GMT)
Hypnosis puts the pokemon to sleep, but not before it uses another string shot, slowing haunter down even more!

kitsunaii - July 30, 2008 07:32 PM (GMT)
"Fine, as long as it's asleep. Use Lick once or twice, Vin." She grinned as he used the attacks, then threw one Pokeball at the Spinarak, crossing her fingers for it to work.

Jokers Wild - August 1, 2008 02:03 PM (GMT)
The ball floated in the air, and toward the spider pokemon. The ball hit and sucked up the spider in a flash of light. Falling and hitting the ground, the ball began to shake furiously. Finaly the ball stopped, but it bursted back open, and Spinarak stood staring at you once again. Well I suppose youll have to weaken it just a little more.

kitsunaii - August 1, 2008 02:32 PM (GMT)
"Er.. Use Lick again, Vincent." She readied herself to throw a second ball as Vincent attacked. "Maybe it'll work this time.."

Shadow of Regice - August 1, 2008 05:46 PM (GMT)
The spinarak was licked, but before you could throw the pokeball, it started... giggling... Hmm. It scuttled over to you, up your arm, and sat on your head... What now?

kitsunaii - August 1, 2008 07:22 PM (GMT)
She blinked in surprise. "The hell?" She stared up at the spider. "Why'd you do that?"
After a moment, she smirked. "Fine, have it your way." she growled, holding the Pokeball up next to it and pressing the button.

Akehoshi - August 1, 2008 10:03 PM (GMT)
The ball opens and the bug was sucked inside. It twitched around in your hand before blowing up, un before stopping! Dun, dun dun dun dun! You caught Spinarak! Would you like to nickname this creepy bug before/after you continue/not at all?

kitsunaii - August 2, 2008 09:17 PM (GMT)
(BOOM! n.n Also, is it male or female?)

Grinning, Riku put the ball away. "Tidus." Turning to Vincent, she said, "Let's see if we can't find a Dark-type now, shall we?"

Akehoshi - August 2, 2008 09:54 PM (GMT)
*pointing to profile* "'Tis would be a male, my good trainer," said the voice in your head, who then goes to question what you were nicknaming it as it's 3:45 in the afternoon first thing in the morning.

"Ghaaaastlyyyyy," the ghostly Pokémon replied, ready to follow. However, before either of you are able to take a step... Erm, or float an inch, a Houndour leaps out at you! It must have heard the commotion and came to investigate, to find you and Vincent invading it's territory! It growls at you threateningly and something tells you it's not going to let you get away without a fight! :P

kitsunaii - August 3, 2008 09:57 PM (GMT)
Riku smiled. "Ah! Finally, a good Dark-type." She let Tidus out of his ball. "Use String Shot, Tidus." She hoped he'd listen, since he was newly caught...

Jokers Wild - August 4, 2008 03:21 AM (GMT)
The pokemon looked back and did another of its little giggles, as it began to shoot a small silky string toward the ghost pokemon.

Houndour stopped growling as the webbing got all over it... And then he barked angrily at you! Uh, oh... Maybe you shouldn't have gotten webbing all over him? He quickly ran over and used Bite, squishing Spinarak flat doing a good amount of damage!

(Edited so you have something you can actually reply to. ~Ake)

kitsunaii - August 5, 2008 01:11 PM (GMT)
Tidus shook himself; it was painful, but he'd have to deal. "Use Poison Sting, then maybe a Scary Face." said Riku. She really wanted to catch the Houndour.

Akehoshi - August 5, 2008 08:04 PM (GMT)
Tidius did as commanded. He spit a poisonous needle at Houndour, doing some damage and making it let go, as well as successfully poisoning it! Landing on the ground, he also made a really scary face, which tensed up Houndour and made it harder to move! Although Houndour wasn't actually that scared, and he attacked back with Ember! Oh no!

kitsunaii - August 5, 2008 09:39 PM (GMT)
Tidus got his abdomen scorched badly by the fire attack. Riku grinned; poison would be helpful, if she were to catch the Pokemon. However, she had to hurry, since it would be KO'd before long. "Tidus, come back." She let the spider into his ball. "Vincent. Use Lick." The ghost Pokemon floated out from behind her and did just that.

Akehoshi - August 6, 2008 04:20 AM (GMT)
The big dog got licked... Though it didn't seem too phased. The attack didn't appear to do much damage. Houndour then countered with an Ember, doing a bit of damage to Vincent! But then it took a bit of damage from it's poison!

kitsunaii - August 6, 2008 03:52 PM (GMT)
"Hmm.. with the amount of damage that Ember keeps doing, we're done for." Vincent nodded, looking a bit sad that he was hit at all. "Alright, use Hypnosis."

Caffeinated Doom - August 21, 2008 11:24 PM (GMT)
Gastly pulls a nonexistent pendulum from its nonexistent pockets and nonexistently (which is a word now because I say it is) swings said nonexistent pendulum back and forth with a nonexistent hand. Houndour falls into a nonexistent state of sleep, which is to say that it remains awake, which is to say that Hypnosis phails. As for Houndour, it uses Gastly as a chew toy. Actually, more like bubble gum. And it chews really, really loudly, like those annoying cheerleaders. You know the ones I'm talking about, like, oh my god! Er. Anyway, the Bite attack is super effective. And super annoying.

kitsunaii - August 31, 2008 05:27 PM (GMT)
"Fine, have it your way. Vincent.." She held out his ball and withdrew the tired ball of gas. "Kiriku!" she cried, throwing a second ball. The Buizel popped out. "Beui!" she called cutely.
"Use Sonicboom." Riku told her Pokemon.

Suppi - September 2, 2008 03:39 AM (GMT)
The attack hit the fire hound with a ... boom! But it didnt seem to do alot of damage unfortunately.
The Houndour reacted to the attack with an ember! But lucky for you, it seemed the attack did affect Buizel at all. The houndour finished off its turn by using howl; upping its stats.

kitsunaii - September 2, 2008 02:14 PM (GMT)
((o.o; Sorry, I didn't pay attention to how much I had typed..))
The Buizel growled and used Tackle, ramming hard into the dog. She leapt back with a cry of "Beuiii!"

Caffeinated Doom - September 4, 2008 06:33 PM (GMT)
Please reword your reply to make it at least fifteen words long. Thanks in advance.

kitsunaii - September 7, 2008 01:32 AM (GMT)
((Fixed it n.n; Sorry again.))

Akehoshi - October 7, 2008 10:53 PM (GMT)
The big dog let out an angry bark and then ran at Kiriku and used Bite, giving Kiriku some nasty wounds bruises and doing decent damage!

kitsunaii - October 8, 2008 05:37 PM (GMT)
Riku bit her lip; she wasn't sure that Kiriku could take much more punishment, she was still young yet.
"Beuui!" Without any command from her trainer, Kiriku loosed another Sonicboom on the Houndour. She was just as determined to win as her trainer was to catch.

Akehoshi - November 1, 2008 10:10 PM (GMT)
The sonicboom did 20 damage! Which was at least enough to put down Houndour's hp a good chunk! It was obviously starting to tire out! However, before you were able to do much more, the dog angrily ran at Kiriku, ramming into the Buizel with a mighty Tackle!

kitsunaii - November 3, 2008 12:56 AM (GMT)
"BEUI!" Kiriku was getting quite irritated. She began to use another attack, a Tackle this time, but Riku barked at her to stop before she could, and threw a 'Ball at the Houndour.
