Ice climbed up the mountain. HE was sure he could find some ice Pokemon here. He had always loved Ice Pokemon. That's where his friend's gave him the nickname ice. His dad had brought him oneday to a far-away temple so his dad could take on Suicune. His dad lost but the fight was admirable. His dad's blastoise did great. He looked at his own squirtle's pokeball. He hoped that he could be that good one day. He continued his climb.

"Snorunt!" You suddenly heard. You looked up to find a wild Snorunt , jumping of a rock above your head! The triangular shaped pokemon fell right on top of you! You rubbed your head and stared at the Snorunt who was staring at you. Suddenly, it rammed into your leg. It wanted a battle.

"Squiiiirrrrttlee" Ice's Squirtle yelled at the Snorunt. Ice could tell that his squirtle was angry that it didn't protect its new friend. "I know what you're thinking Shellz, go for it, Shellz Tackle that Snorunt"Ice exclaimed

The tackle hit, and snorunt countered with bite, damaging your squirtle, who stepped back in pain.

"Hmm' Ice thought to himself "This snorunt must be at least lvl 10 if it used bite, that means that my attacks wont be that effective, i gotta bring down it's defense." Ice looked at his squirtle " Shellz Tail Whip"

Squirtle bounced onto the battlefield, and started wagging its tail as though it was really going to do something.

Snorunt began to laugh, it might have lowered his defense, but it was worth Squirtle making a fool out of himself, he thought. Snorunt tried to used another Bite, but was laughing so hard he couldnt seem to open and bite!

Ice was waiting to see then he saw it an opening "Shellz Tackle right at the Snorunts stomach"

Squirtle, angered from the laughter took off full speed heading for Snorunt. Squirtle dived at Snorunt, and made contact right with his head. A Critical hit!

Snorunt got up, and shot a Ice Beam attack directly for Squirtle. Squirtle dunked in its shell at the right time, and managed to shake off most of the attack.

The battle was really heating up.

"That was a close one Shellz" Ice thought for a sec. He knew this was Snorunt's field and it has the homefeild advantage, but maybe he can use the snow to their advantage. He knew Mass times Acceleration = Force so more speed more force "Shellz full speed tackle and then get into your shell and slide on the snow to tackle" He hoped the increased momentum would help him.

Snorunt attempted to evade, though with Shellz's built up speed, it was unable to dodge in time, being knocked to the side like a bowling pin! Landing in the snow didn't hurt it too much, however, and so the little Pokémon didn't take a huge amount of damage upon impact with the ground. However, the energy transfer between the two Pokémon HAD caused a decent bit of damage to Snorunt.

The Pokémon got up, and then stopped a moment and pondered why it didn't just use Protect, though after a moment it didn't seem to care anyways. Turning back to Shellz, the Ice-type lunged towards the Squirtle with a Headbutt! Time for Squirtle to react, in whatever way you may command it, Trainer! :P

Ice didn't have to much time to think. When Snorunt was knocked over it had trouble getting back up. "That's it" Ice yelled "Shellz Jump and Duck into your shell when i tell you" He waited he needed the perfect timing. Hopefully Shellz would land on the triangular Pokemon. "Now Shellz, jump"

A well timed jump and shell retreat landed shellz right on top of the snorunt! The snorunt got right back up and used double team! Now there were many snorunts! Which to attack?

OOC: a pokemon can use any move it can learn ever, either on its own, with an H or TM, or a learned move, but a move closer to your level is better, such as you squirtle will do more damage with a water gun than with a hydro pump.

Ice thought to himself. If he uses a move like tackle or water gun h would only take out maybe 1 or 2, but hydro pump would take out all of them but it would be to weak. Wait he had an idea. He remembers his dad's favorite move when he had his wartortle. "Shellz rapid spin"

Shellz retreated into his shell, then began spinning... and spinning... and spinning! A wind flew around, and suddenly, Shellz flew around and hit all of them, bouncing back and forth. He finally hit the real one, sending it flying into a nearby snowbank!
It crawled out of the snowbank, and hit Shellz hard with icy wind! Ice built up around Shellz, slowing him down!

Ice had little time to think. He needed heat to melt down the ice. "Friction" he yelled. He thought to himself he had to stop yelling out loud. "Shellz rapid spin again and try to break free then send yourself and the shards of ice towards Snorunt"

Shellz tried to get into his shell, but is frozen limbs wouldn't move right! He just stood their freezing in the cold! The snorunt began gloating, bouncing from side to side!

Ice thought that that would work. He thought to him self "What can he do" He looked around. There was a ledge above Snorunt. "Shellz try your best, aim Water Pulse at the ledge above Snorunt."

Squirtle shot water gun at the ledge, and it froze on contact! But it did pull down the ledge, hitting snorunt hard and burying him! Now you have some time to get that ice off shellz!

"Go ahead and rest Shellz, Return" Ice looks at his other pokeball. "Go Ponyta, Ember right at that pile of snow, I feel like catching it now"

Ponyta used ember on the pile of snow, melting it! The only thing left was a cuddled up snorunt! This seems like a good time to toss that pokeball!

Ice looked in his bag, he emptied it all out. " I can't believe i put the pokeballs all the way at the bottom" He murmured. He found one and picked it up. "Pokeball go" He threw the pokeball at the snorunt.....

You pull back, ready to launch the pokeball to catch small weird little creature, and finally you let go. The ball floats in the air for what feels like an eternity, until it finally hits and sucks up the Snorunt.

The ball wiggled a few times, and then stopped. Congratz, you have just caught a Snorunt! (Ill update this for you)

"good job ponyta return" Ice shines the red light and returns his ponyta.

Well Let's see what happens now. Ice thinks while he walks on.

Walking along, you hear the cry of some brilliant, beautiful Pokémon in the distance... Far in the distance. Some...graceful, majestic bird, you imagine. Of course, the sky is hazy and it's impossible to see anything so far away.

After stopping for a moment to listen to the call echo back just once, you continue, soon later finding yourself crossing paths with a cute little Smoochum! It has a pretty little red ribbon with a bell on it around it's neck. You can hear the slight tingling of the bell as it shivers in the snow near the path. The poor little thing must belong to somebody.

"Well hello there little buddy" Ice said to the tiny Pokemon "Now who do you belong to"?

Ice actually thought for a minute he was going to get a response.

"Well lets see if we can find your trainer" Ice told the little Smoochum.

Ice grabbed a pokeball from his belt. "Go Snorunt" Ice exclaimed as he threw his pokeball.

"Well Snorunt, this here Smoochum is lost, let's see if we can find her trainer" Ice said

"SnooRunt" Ice's snorunt responded

However, it seemed that you were going to have to carry this little Smoochum, as she was shivering like mad! Hmm... Maybe your first priority should be finding some shelter and helping her warm up before you even think of setting out in search of her trainer? I'm sure if you continue you may find someplace to stay further down the road......

"Well there little buddy you seen to be freezing" Ice noticed "Here" Ice reached into his bag and grabbed a blanket, he wrapped it around he little pokemon and picked it up. "Better" He asked Smoochum. "Smooch" she replied. "C'mon Snorunt lets go"

Ice, carrying the Smoochum walked down the path with his Snorunt following

Smoochum hugs close to you as you walk and you notice after a little bit that the shivering has died down just a little.

As you walked, it wasn't long before you saw a log cabin a bit up the road with smoke rising up its little chimney! That's probably the place that the mod hinted about! :P Looks warm and cozy... Maybe the cabin's residents will allow you to stay for a while to warm up and rest? And maybe they'll know a little about where this little Smoochum came from?

Ice notice's a log cabin a couple of feet away. "What do you think Snorunt, you know i once watched a movie like this, the end wasn't so pleasant." Ice said. He looked down at his little Pokemon, who gave him a blank stare. "Do you know what a movie is" Ice asked. Again a blank stare. "OK we so gotta get you a TV" Ice said while chuckling s bit. "What do you think Smoochum" Ice asked the little Pokemon in his arms. "Smoochum" She said. "Well i guess that's the best answer I will ever get from you." Ice joked. Ice walked over to the front of the cabin and knocked at the door.

A buff-but-friendly-looking man opened the door. "Oh, hello," he said, then looked down at Smoochum and Snorunt. "Ah, I see. You're a Pokémon trainer..." he commented. He stood aside and held the door open for you. "Come in, come in," he invited, letting you in.

It was a cozy little cabin with a couple bunks, a table, small kitchen, and a fireplace with a big, roaring fire in it. It was nice and warm in here in contrast to the icy cold outside. And this man was so friendly. He made you a cup of hot chocolate and said you could rest a while. Perhaps he'd also know something about Smoochum if you asked? Well, it couldn't hurt. And you were certain Smoochum would like to return to her owner.

Ice thought to himself that this guy is generous. He should ask him if he ever seen this smoochum before. He also thought where did these idea's keep coming from. He doesn't think them. Maybe it's an external force.

Ice took a sip of his hot coco. "Thank you so much sir, I have a question for you, You wouldn't happen to have seen this particular Smoochum before"

Suddenly you hear a muffled laugh before it fades from existance. Yep... External force! =D

In any case the man now takes a closer look at Smoochum and pats her on the head. "So it's not yours... Hmm... Actually, there's a little girl in town with a Smoochum. I believe this little one may be hers," he said thoughtfully.

Anyways, Smoochum seemed a little morelively now, happily happily sipping the little cup of Pokécocoa that he had given her, along with some for Snorunt. How discrimitory that they got a separate kind of cocoa? Maybe for you.... For some reason it looked sweeter. :P

Ice looked at the Smoochum. She seemed happy, but then he looked at his own pokeballs and then at his Snorunt. He would be upset if he lost any of them. 'Sir thank you for your hospitality" Ice said to the nice guy " But can you point us towards town, We should get going and return this Smoochum"

"Oh, you think the cocoa was free? No!" You look at him in confusion, as you don't really have that much money. He seems to notice that you are confused and says "Hahaha! Not money, I want a pokemon battle! Go Delibird!" His Delibird appeared in a flash of red light. "You may choose your pokemon and attack first!"

'You should of said that in the first place" Ice said to the guy " I would of drunk more coco" Ice pulled out his pokeball and returned his Snorunt, but it kept getting out. "I guess you want to fight in this, then lets" Ice said to his snorunt " Snorunt Double Team" Soon one by one snorunt circled around the delibird

Delibird looked around at all the Snorunt. "Deli...bird...?"

"Come on, Delibird, use Aerial Ace!" the man commanded. Delibird nodded and then began flying all through the room, through each of the Snorunt clones until it hit the real one! Yeah, the attack itself didn't do a huge amount of damage, but Delibird DID find the real Snorunt!

Oh, dear. You'd better do something before Delibird makes off with another attack.

"You're right I should do something, Wait damm who am i talking to" Ice looked around in confusion

"It's fast I gotta give it that, That's it speed" Ice said out loud " Snorunt, Icy wind, slow it down"

"Snorunt!" The little icy Pokemon opened its mouth and blew out a chilling wind which did a bit of damage and slowed Delibird, who attacked back with Present. Oh, look, isn't that ni- OH, SHOOT!

Erm, yeah, sorry to tell you this, but it kinda exploded in Snorunt's face. Soooorry. XD In any case, Snorunt can still fight, so better not let Delibird do that again!

''Damm bird" Ice mumbled under his breath

"Snorunt you OK" Ice's Snorunt looked up at Ice and said "Snorunt" Ice looked at the bird Pokemon, Its main mode of transportation is its wings and most of it's attacks are delivered(no pun intended),Ice thought to himself "I guess that's a yes, Snorunt Ice beam and aim for the wings" Ice commanded his pokemon

"Hurry, Delibird, evade it!!!" the man commanded. Delibird flew to the side to try to avoid the Ice Beam, though it failed to clear the attack completely. The icy attack froze one of the bird's wings, thusly sending it to the ground, as well as doing damage. "Delibird! No! Use Present again!" its trainer commanded, and Delibird walked over and threw an explosive gift at Snorunt.
