As Valkrie continued on his way through the city, exploring as much as he can, he almost forgot to go back home to tell his mother school was cancelled. He was just thinking things like "She'll be so worried--Why didn't I go back--Why did I have to get the Pokemon--She's probably out looking--I gotta go back...
Like a sheep lost in a forest of wolves, he went back home only to find his mother gone. After inspecting his kitchen (A lovely one too...), he came to the table to find a note. It read,
| QUOTE |
Dear Valkrie, Hey Bud, it's mom. If you're home, chances are I'm not back from looking for you yet. You knew school was canceled, didn't you. You'll never learn, will you? Anyway, I'll be back home to check if you're back before I go report your missing, so I'll be back soon.
Love you, Mom |
Scared of discipline, he replied to the note saying something along the lines of, "'Till next time...". He ran outside with his new Totodile into Willow Way.
It was a nice morning in Willow Way. The Sunlight shon through the lush green leafs of the towering tree. The trees seemed to dance as a refreshing breeze blew through the pathway, but thats not the only thing that did.
"HOPPP-PIPPPP!" A cry came from behind you. You turned around and as soon as you did; SMACK; the pokemon "Hoppip" smacked you right in the face! It must of got caught in the drift of wind. You held it in your arms, and then placed the cottonweed pokemon on the path. It stared at you, with its small beedy eyes. You stared back.
You then turned around and started to walk away. But you got the feeling it was still watching you, so you check, and sure enough, there it was, staring at you with its haunting eyes. You felt a shiver go up your spine. Hoppip sure was freaky.
Well, Totodile, whaddaya say? You want to have your first battle here?
"Tote!", he exclaimed. He was braced for battle.
The hoppip just stared at you, as if it had never seen a human before. It floated towards totodile, bounced off of him, then ran behind a tree. After a few seconds, it peeked out again.
