Shortly after gaining his first pokemon, Joker decided not to waste anytime and start his journey. On a window at a nearby convience store he seen a map of a few nearby areas. One area seemed to catch his attention. This was none other than Venin Valley. Poion type pokemon have always been a favorite of Joker, Grimer being his all-time fave and he hoped to maybe find one lurking on his way through the valley.

Joker let out Cubone and the two stared at each other for a few minutes. Cubone seemed to be analyzing its new trainer as though it had never seen anything like a human in its life. Joker reacted by saying a few greeting words and soon the two seemed to be best friends. The two followed the short path and soon found themselves in the beginning of what seemed to be Venin Valley...

As you walk slowly towards the valley, a Weedle pops out of no where and hits you in the face. It doesn't seem to like you much as it stung you too, not leaving poison though (thank God). It then pointed at your Cubone and ordered a battle. This Weedle looks mad for no apparent reason..

Joker thought to hisself, A weedle couldnt be too hard. This will be great for a first battle. Joker looked down at Cubone and it seemed that he also was ready to fight.
"Ok Cubone, its time," Joker said.
Cubone gave a little grin and took a few steps toward Weedle, mean mugging him the whole way.
"Cubone, use Headbutt!"

Cubone did a head bang...On Weedle's face! The weedle backed away for a few squirms, and used poison sting on Cubone! it hit, but didn't seem too hurt much...

This battle seemed to be going my way but I didnt wanna get too cocky, not yet anyway. The weedle even though a little damaged, didnt seem like it was out yet.
"Cubone, use Bone Club!"

Cubone began swinging it's bone around for a Bone Club attack. The Weedle was not ready to give up yet and stabbed Cubone with yet another Poison Sting, doing some damage and poisoning Cubone ( :angry: ). Cubone staggered back and continued with the attack. Weedle, dodged in the knick of time. Cubone took damage because of poison.

Now I was just getting frustrated. How could a little weedle be doing all this. There was no way.
"Ok Return Cubone, Go Horsea!" I said as I switched pokemon.
"Horsea, use watergun on Weedle!" I commanded.

The water hit Weedle, but it didn't hurt a lot, in fact, the weedle needed a bath. Anyways, while the Weedle was bathing, the weedle did yet another poison sting, poisoning Horsea. Try again. :P

Now I was really getting frustrated, yelling all over the place. This smallish weedle was having fun.
"Horsea, use a Bubble beam attack on Weedle, try your best to hit it," I commanded out to Horsea.

Weedle had a clever tactic. The bug type pokemon bent its head down, so when the bubble came towards it, they all popped on its sharp horn

"Weeeeee-dle!" The pokemon cackled at your failed attemped. It then shot a Poison sting, but fortunatly, it missed.

I was now getting very angered. I picked up a rock and launched it at the Weedle. If Horsea couldnt hurt it, I sure was going to. Sadly I missed as well.

"Ok Horsea, enough horsing around! Use Water Gun!" I shouted.

By the time Horsea launched it's attack, Weedle was rolling on the ground laughing from your failed attempt to hit it and the badly worded pun you said. So, Weedle was like a sitting... ehrm... worm.

Horsea used this chance, and hit Weedle right in the face. Weedle, clearly startled by the attack, used a string shot that managed to slow Horsea down a little.

I now had no more patience, this Weedle was getting on my nerves. Afterall, it was a small bug type pokemon and it was winning. Was this weedle that good, or was I that bad? Either way I had to finish the battle.

Horsea looked over huffing and puffing. I could tell he was getting impatient to. It just seemed nothing we did was even hurting this Weedle.

"Ok Horsea, use another Water Gun. A couple more and this weedle should be done!" I yelled out to Horsea.

The weedle was hit hard by this attack, and was knocked backwards hard! It struggled to get up... and then attacked with string shot!

"Ok, This one might not be the best looking pokemon, but for a Weedle, its pretty strong! Lets catch it!" I called out.

Horsea looked back at me, then drifted back toward me readying that he understood and wouldnt attack anymore.

I pulled out an empty pokeball from my pocket, and tossed it at the small bug.

The Pokéball twitched a few times... And a few more... And then more.... God, just make the suspense go away. Thankfully for you, your prayers have been answered! :P There is a 'ding!' sound signaling a successful capture, and Weedle is yours!


Continuing down the path of Venin Valley, you eventually cross paths with a young couple sitting under a tree, the boy handing a beautiful purple flower to his girlfriend. She took it, smiling happily. Their Nidoran nearby, lying together. Ah. Love. How beautiful. They seemed at peace here, or at least they did. The boy quickly looked up, startled. "What?! Who are you?!" he demanded, standing up. His Nidoran awoke and quickly ran up in front of him, growling, as the other ran over to her trainer.

Uh-oh. Obviously, disturbing love is not a good idea. You might be in for a fight! Luckily for you, though, it seemed that you'd only have one trainer to fight today, as his girlfriend sat back, holding her Nidoran, as the defended. But, nonetheless, you were in for a fight.

"If you want a fight, Ill give you one!" I shouted.

I reached into my pocket and pulled out 6 pokeballs. Each had the name of the pokemon inside. Squirtle..Horsea..Sneasel..Fireworks Quilava..Weedle..Articuno..What to use?

I put 5 of the 6 in my pocket, and tossed one out onto the field. A icy colored bird arose from the pokeball. It was my Articuno!

"Ok Articuno, this is our first battle together, so lets make it a good one!" I shouted.

"Use Ice Beam!"

The boy stood gaping at the legendary bird, but his nidoran wasn't hurt hard by the attack, and used double kick, knocking articuno backwards. The kid regained his composure, and stood waiting for your next attack!

"Great Job Articuno," I said to Articuno as I petted it down its back.

"Art.." Articuno called, ready for another attack, as it stared down Nidoran.

"Articuno, quickly, Use Ice Shard!" I commanded.

ooc: TY XD

Ice shard hit the Nidoran hard, and it flew backwards into its trainer! It used double kick once again, but articuno didn't take as much damage this time.

"Nice job Articuno!" I say.

We was now in a bit of a lead in the battle, and I felt it was time for on of Articunos strongest attacks.

"Ok buddy, lets end this one now,' I said grinned evilily.

"Lets use Blizzard! Come on, lets beat the thing!"

"Come on, Nidoran, use Dig to get out of the way of that attack!" the boy commanded, and his Pokémon did just that, quickly burrowing under the ground to avoid being hit by the powerful ice attack. Where, oh, where, has Nidoran gone... You can only guess!

Joker began to laugh as Nidoran had buried under the ground. Articuno looked back at its Trainer, and also gave out a small smile.

"You do know that Articuno cant be hurt by dig, its bird type," Joker laughed at the Trainer.

Articuno stayed up in the air, looking down for the Nidoran to pop up at anytime.

"Now Articuno, wait for it to come back up, and when it does hit it with Ice Beam!"

(Bird type... you mean flying right? :) )

The nidoran jumped out of the ground, and before articuno could hit it with ice beam, it jumped up and used horn drill, a one hit KO! poison jab, and then jumped back, only to be hit by ice beam.

[You knew what I meant :P]

"Ok Articuno, this punk cant keep up with you. Just another round or two more, and we will have it won," I said.

I watched the small purple pokemon, continue to battle. Its Trainer must have really been determined. Not much people were able to take on an Articuno, and not even be scared. For that, I had to give him props, but this was still a battle, and I was going to win.

"Articuno, use Blizzard. Lets end this thing!"

Nidoran braced itself against the attack, taking heavy damage! It shivered from the amazing cold of the Blizzard, although it had managed to survive it.

"Come on, Nidoran, use Horn Attack!" the boy commanded, and Nidoran ran towards Articuno, jumped up, and managed to jab into Articuno's body with its horn, doing a bit of damage!
