Also, because I can't find where it's posted and since there are a lot of questions about it...your Pokemon can learn any attacks they learn by level-up, TM, breeding...even by special means.

However, a strong attack on a weak Pokemon will be a weak attack. Sometimes, a weak attack will be more effective.
