*OOC: Woot my first RPG post, guy please try and make this one a good one.


As the clock's minute hand nears ten o'clock P.M. a young boy named Harwinder sits in his bed unable to sleep due to extreme anxiety, he gets to start his journey tomorrow. Harwinder already has his starter Pokemon, he got it earlier today at Professor Melinda's lab. Harwinder's starter Pokemon, Ghastly a ghost type, was in his Pokeball on the desk next to him.

Harwinder was especially happy that he got a ghost type as a starter since he was going to start his journey on Tamar Lane. Tamar Lane is know for it's normal type Pokemon abundance and Harwinder know that would work out to his advantage, Professor Melinda did however warn Harwinder that normal type Pokemon can still harm Ghastly even if ghost type Pokemon are unaffected by normal moves, they can still use moves of other types. Harwinder knowing that still though he has a large advantage, he was planning on leveling up Ghastly beginning of on Tamar Lane before continuing his journey.

*Harwinder falls asleep thinking of what kind of strategies he would use against Pokemon that are strong against ghost types.

As his clock nears nice o'clock in the morning the alarm starts, but Harwinder stops it after about four beeps, not being sleepy at all after nine hours of sleep. After getting dressed and ready he put all his supplies (Five PokeBalls and one potion) in his backpack he sets out for the road ahead. He decided to release his Ghastly out of his Pokeball before starting off on his journey, Professor Melinda had told Harwinder that his particular Ghastly didn't like to be in it's Pokeball to much.

After about thirty minutes of walking the grass starts to get really tall and thick, and Harwinder starts to get the feeling he will see a Pokemon soon, but after another hour of walking there is still no sign of a Pokemon, so Harwinder and Ghastly decide to take a break near a tree.

Just as Harwinder is about to unwrap his sandwich he hears a sound coming from the tree above him.

**OOC:Have fun with this one guys.

The leaves of the tree above Harwinder rustled and stopped. Harwinder and his Gastly got up and backed away from the tree, looking into its branches in hopes of finding the source of the sounds and movement. The tree stopped, however, and everything was calm for a moment. Suddenly, however, something sprang out of the leaves and straight at Harwinder!

"Aipom!" The small, monkey-like Pokemon landed on Harwinder's face and knocked him over. Aipom jumped up and back so he could see his opponents. A human and his Gastly. Aipom smiled at the thought of fighting an opponent he had a disadvantage against.

Of course, Aipom also felt safe in knowing Gastly had a slight disadvantage as well. Ghost type moves had no effect on Normal type Pokemon. The tiny monkey jumped back up into the tree.

"Aip! Aipom! Pom! Pom!" He sat in his tree waiting for Harwinder to get up and react.

Harwinder, knowing that Ghost type move's would affect Aipom, decided to get Aipom's status down so it would be easier to attack.

How Aipom was acting surprised Aipom. Aipom was jumping around and clapping it hands, as if it wasn't even in a battle. To say the least Harwinder was expecting a strong stare as Aipom awaiting his actions. But this only made Harwinder more excited, all these new things he was learning. He knew it was very unlikely that he would have learned them from T.V., or even books. But he know he had to attack fast or Aipom might get away.

"O.k., Ghastly, use confuse ray!", and just like that a black ball with fuzzy purple lines around launched from Ghastly going towards Aipom.

Aipom was still jumping and clapping it's hands. Harwinder was really this attack hits Aipom, he did not want the battle to start off to Aipom's advantage.

Aipom was laughing as the ray hit him. He stopped and stared into space for a moment or two. It wasn't clear if the attack had worked. The small monkey sat down on a branch and his eyes grew wider. Finally, it was certain the ray had worked, as Aipom simply fell backwards out of the tree, hitting his head firmly on the ground.

He stood up, rubbing his neck, and turned around, facing away from Harwinder. He used a Swift, which curved around in midair and knocked Aipom over with great force.

"Aipom?!" Aipom stood up and stared at Gastly. He looked as though he was surprised he was hit by Swift. He scratched his head and stood there, baffled by his own confusion.

*Harwinder get a big grin on his face after his attacks works successfully.*

"O.K. Ghastly good job, we did decent damage with that move, and we got the thing to stop acting like it's at a party."

*Ghastly looks back and laughs a very ghostly laugh at Harwinder*

"O.K. Ghastly, I think I'll try and catch this one, personally I like it's attitude. Having a positive attitude all the time can only be good for you."

*Ghastly responds with a simple "gas, gasley".*

"Go, Ghastly use Night Shade", almost immediately a dark beam fires from Ghastly going to the still Aipom. Aipom notices the attack and gets ready. Harwinder wonders if it will dodge, or simply counter the night shade with an attack of it's own.

*Harwinder feels that Ghastly and he have become better and closer friends during this battle. Ghastly seems to enjoy battling with Harwinder, and Harwinder feels the same about Ghastly.

The waves of darkness envelop Aipom. But as they cleared, it became apparent that the ghost type move had had no effect. Luckily for Harwinder, though, Aipom was doing a pretty good job of lowering its own HP. The little ape was frustrated that this battle was not going its way. Using Fling, it threw something at Gastly, which turned out to be an Oran Berry. Gastly caught it and held onto it for later. But as that was going on, Aipom quickly followed up with Double Slap. Using its tail, it slapped itself three times. Aipom's eyes came back into focus. It had snapped out of its confusion.

(OOC:Totally forgot Night Shade was a ghost type attack, Also My named has changed to *Brock.)

Harwinder quickly noticing that that the ghost type attack that he stupidly used had no affect decided he had to put Aipom to sleep or paralyze it.

"Go, Ghastly use hypnosis attack on Aipom", just as soon as Harwinder said those words Ghastly prepared to launch it's attack.

A black ball with purple lines shooting around quickly appeared in front of Ghastly, Harwinder thinking Ghastly was using confusion again quickly told it to stop.

"Ghastly, why are you using Confusion again?", Said Harwinder.
Ghastly stops the attack and turns toward Harwinder, "Gas, gas, Gasley, gas".

*Harwinder who had just started his adventure with Ghastly, has no clue what Ghastly is saying. Though Harwinder thinks Ghastly was arguing with him for some reason.

"O.K Ghastly, lets try it one more time. Use hypnosis", said Harwinder.

The same thing starts to happen, a black ball with purple lines shooting around it appears in front of Ghastly. Harwinder being as confused as ever yells:
"Ghastly, stop using confusion!! I said use Hypnosis!".

Once again Ghastly stops the attack, but this time it doesn't turn around.

Aipom has started it's attack.

Gastly, very pissed at you, uses Hypnosis on the Aipom. Aipom is put fast to sleep like a little monkey baby. Gastly turns at you then fires a Shadow Ball at you. I think it doesn't want you to be so mean in commanding it. (o.o;) Maybe you should be nicer?

(OOC: Be nicer? Well it is an RPG.)

"Ghastly, why did you attack me?"
"Gas, Gas, Gasley, gas Gas"
Harwinder still can't understand what Ghastly is saying although he gets the feeling it is arguing with him and trying to explain something.

*Just NOW Harwinder realizes Aipom is sound asleep.

"Ghastly, did confusion just put Aipom to sleep?", Harwinder said, again being as stupid as ever.

*It then accord to him that that attack Ghastly used wasn't confusion and in fact it WAS Hypnosis, realizing this as late as ever Harwinder quickly apologizes to Ghastly, Ghastly is still mad at Harwinder for not being nice.

Since Aipom was asleep Harwinder decided to try and catch it.
"PokeBall, GO!", and so Harwinder threw his Pokeball at Aipom. Aipom was quickly put into the Pokeball but before Harwinder could celebrate the Pokeball started twitching and beeping.

Would Aipom come out of the Pokeball or stay inside?

(OOC: Next time, just say the red and white pokeball went towards the Aipom. Can't say if it hit or not >< Sorry ><)

The ball twitched back and forth.. back and forth.. back and forth.. will it ever catch? It just kept going back and forth, faster and faster. Soon, it beeps.. but then starts twitching. Will this twitching ever stop? Does the Aipom has terets? Finally, it beeps. You have caught a Lv 7 female Aipom. I shall update ^^ Congrats!

(OOC: Sorry, still getting used to the rules. But I pretty much got everything cleared)

Harwinder picks up the Pokeball a jumps around a couple times.

*Harwinder now has three Pokeballs on his belt buckle. Harwinder releases all his Pokemon Ghastly, Aipom, and Carvhanha.

"O.K. guys lets rest a bit, and get a bite to eat. I'm starving after that last battle with you Aipom."

*Harwinder pours Pokemon food in three separate bowls. "Dig in guys, I hope you like it. I brought it from home."

Harwinder opens up a a PB&J sandwich and eats it. After their done eating the gang starts walking, once again, towards their next destination. How much longer could it take?

*Harwinder still has all his Pokemon except Carvanha released, and they ware walking with him.

Soon, a tiny helpless Poochyena comes out of a bush and is terrified at the site of you and hides back in the bush. Looks like a new born. The bush shakes alot as you think it is the Poochyena but you don't know. Should you investigate?

Harwinder decides to investigate, but is hesitant. Since the Poochyena he just saw looked like a baby it's mother might be somewhere near by, in fact it's mother might be what is rattling the bush.

*Harwinder notices a little pond up ahead and decides that we will investigate and if it turns out it's mother really is there he will use either Carvanha or Ghastly since their HP is fairly high and their not to tired.

Harwinder starts to sneak around the bush until he got to the side where the pond was. Harwinder moves in and pushes the leaves and the grass to the side and looks inside the bushy area.

What will he see?

He finds... nothing? :crazy: The Poochyena is gone from the bush. Pity, looked like it was going to be a good fighter too. Since you said about the lake, Carvanha pops out of the poke ball and starts swimming about. You soon see a red pokemon swimming around as well. It was a Magikarp! Fairly large one at that...

"Bummer, I bet a Poochyena would have been a fun Pokemon to have..."

Present:

"Hey, Carvanha, what do you say to your first battle"
*Carvanha howl in agreement.

"Ok, lets add to our team Carvanha. Use Water gun."

*A jet of water fires out of Carvanha's mouth go toward the Megikarp.

Will it hit, or will it miss?

The attack shot right into Magikarp, doing an alright amount of damage. Magikarp just looked at you blankly, and then started splashing around...

Harwinder was expecting this kind of reaction from Magikarp, he had seen a show on T.V. that was all about Magikarp and how weak they are when it comes to battling.

"Alright, good job Carvanha, not lets use Tackle"
Carvanha fires itself right at Magikarp at an amazing speed that Harwinder had never seen before, even though Carvanha was Harwinder's Pokemon he was still amazed.

Magikarp flopped up, dodging Carvanha as it tackled ashore. Carvanha flopped about, being too far from the water. Seems that Magikarp is smarter than you think. Yet, it still just swims in the water, not doing much..

"Carvanha are you OK?"

*Carvanha replied with a semi-nod.

"OK then Carvanha use Tackle again"

Hopefully it will hit this time?

Magikarp is, strangly gracely today. Maybe the Braves actually won a game...

Anyways, the Magikarp did a GRACEFUl dogue, then GRACELY splashed about, getting your face GRACEFULLY wet.

*Harwinder wants to catch this Magikarp even more now.

"This one is special Carvanha. Ok use Water gun, it won't be to effective but it has a higher chance of hitting."

* A jet of water fires out from Carvanha towards the Magikap.

The strong blast of water hit magikarp, which sent it FLYING. Literally. The magikarp landed quiite a ways from the lake, and is now splashing miserably on the ground, what shall you do now?

"This is our chance, now that it's no in the water It has less of a chance of dodging. Carvanha use tackle and send it flying"

*Carvanha speeds towards the Magikarp from out of the what and out towards the ground where it is flopping about.

I strangely remember a fact. You know what it is.

1. Magikarp is graceful, in or out of the water.
2. Fish don't go out of the water. :XD:

You know where i'm going? Carvanha missed, non-gracefully, and the fish are now flopping about on the ground. What will you do now?

(OOC: Alright yeah, w/e that was stupid)

"Ok, Carvanha return"

*A red light illuminates Carvanha, Carvanha disappear.

"Ok, lets go Aipom"

*Aipom appears from his Pokeball

As aipom was released from it's ball, it looked curiously back at his trainer.

"It's OK aipom you can do it, Aipom Thunder shock"

Aipom looks back at the opponent, and begins to shake frequently. Finally a small wave comes from Aipom and out to Magikarp, and zaps it. Magikarp is paralyzed!

Magikarp begins to try to move, but it cant!

"ok Aipom this is our chance, GO POKEBALL"

*Harwinder throws a red and white Pokemon towards Magikarp.

What will happen, will he catch it or will it get away?

The pokemon is sucked into the pokeball, and begins wobbling. An hour later, it is till wobbling.... Hmm... Finally, aipom walks over to it and sits on it... the pokeball stops wobbling, and you caught magikarp! Male, level 6! would you like to give it a nickname?

*Harwinder decides not to give his Magikarp a name.

"Wow Aipom that was a close one, but all that matters is.

WE CAUGHT MAGIKARP!!"

*Aipoms jumps in joy.
*Harwinder decides not to put Aipom back into it's Pokeball until later.

"Hey guys it's been a long day, I think we should set up camp here and get a good nights sleeps before heading out again"

*Harwinder's Pokemon seem to agree with him.

(OOC: I'll leave it up to a moderator to decide what happens next.)

You find a nice camp site and set up your stuff. You and your pokemon sleep deeply, and when you wake up, you find yourself in the middle of a giant city of tents! You rub your eyes in amazement... what do you want to do?
