Jake Vita wandered to Prof. Melinda labs. It was night, so no-one saw him. He was looking for a starter and he had been rejected a few times. No-one's going to stop him this time. He camboured through an open window and the first thing he saw was one rather energetic Ghastly. The Ghastly seemed to like him, dancing around him, probably wanting to play. "Go away, I need to find a pokemon." He said rather harshly. The Ghastly was not happy about this and slunk off to a lonely pokeball, hidden down between the shelves. It seemed the pokeball had fallen down there at one stage and had been forgotten. When Jake saw this, he relented. "Sorry, mate. I didn't know you were one of the avaliable ones. If I had known, I would have chosen you immediately." The Ghastly popped out, now very happy indeed. Taking the ball, Jake made a run for it. He was very exited. He had finally gotten his first pokemon! Taking him out, he said, "I think I'll call you... Phantom. Phantom, my name's Jake Vita. I'll be your trainer from now on, kay?" Phantom flew around him a few times, happy with the name.
