Well I was up late last night, right before I went to bed I checked what swarming pokemon it was, and it was beldum. I decided I would catch it before I go to bed, oh I wish I hadn't said that. I went to the route, and encountered it. I weakened to low enough health to catch and started throwing every pokeball I had. 20 later it killed itself with take down. So I got a pokemon with thunderwave. 30 pokeballs later, it killed itself with take down x_x . Ok I was just about to go crazy I CAUGHT REGIGIGIS AND GIRIATINA FASTER! I deciced to give it one more go. 40 pokeballs a death of my lucario and rotom it killed itself with takedown. Then I lost my mind, I used that cheated masterball I promised myself not to use. I named the beldum I HATE YOU, and for good reason. As I see it I must have spent more money then I get at the ELite four with an amulet coin on that beldum x_x. Will someone tell me beldums catch rate

Errrrr... The catch rate on Beldum is the same as Larvitar; Dratini ect ect... It's a steel type though so you can't poison it and fury cutter won't get you very far and clearbody doesn't allow you to mess up it's stats so switching into intimidaters won't work to well. I reccomend using pokemon around the same lvl as the beldum in question with a neutral damage attack and an extra effect (IE :makuhita: with Force Palm) and you might get lucky enough to paralyze it; then use skills that won't do alot of damage (normal-type attacks) to chip it down to having only a shread of HP; the rest is strategiic use of balls (like dusk balls at night) Skill swap also makes pokes like Beldum easier to get because then you can shuffel intimidators; screechers ect ect to wreck it's stats and make it easier to catch. Though to be honest I found the hardest catch of D/P to be Azelf simply because you have to sponge up it's attacks but there is a point Future Sight->Nasty Plot becomes hideously overwhealming on your poke taking the brunt.
