I was surfing along Cephal Ocean, trying to find a pokemon to battle so I could train my Squirtle. Squirtle seemed to be doing fine carrying me through the ocean considering i'm about twice his size. And the waves didn't seem to bother him that much. I praised him for being so strong and told him we could stop somewhere and take a rest soon if conditions permitted it.

As you swam along on squirtle, you noticed a bubbling in the water... peering in, you see a shadow rising. Suddenly, a carvanha jumps out and tries to take off your nose! It looks angry!
