(OOC: I'm involving an NPA in this one. His name is Artemis; his discription will follow))
I stepped quietly along the path - my footsteps only a faint padding, floating into the distance. My Pokemon Glithitray (Torchic) and Midnight (Shiny Eevee) were travelling by my side. Glithii aided the lanterns in their quest to light up this dark passage. Zengo wasn't out because he was too excitable, and would probably be frightened very easily, and Nevada wasn't because I believe it would be too difficult to watch over three pokemon in a place like this, currently.
I had some pokemon because of a brief previous advanture that I ended early, as I felt too young, too immature, to handle it. I was also quite lonely, travelling on my own in a forest full of bugs...an.y.way...
I gazed lovingly at Midnight, as we moved along slowly. I loved the way she sparkled in this light. So did Artemis, my best friend, who was travelling with me. Artemis Laurence Jareth Quintin Jackyl-Wolfe. He was very English. (I couldn't believe his surname when I heard it, either. If our full names are ever on a document together, we look quite a ridiculus pair.) He was albino - his bright white hair, pale skin (paler than mine), and strange eyes that were so light blue that they were almost white, and contained no pupil, made him quite striking. He wore his hair similar to mine, although they looked quite different, because of the coloring. He also had a black lightning bolt dyed into his fringe - I don't know how he mantains it; he sometimes claims it's a birthmark, but that is oh-so-cliche. He was thin, like me, but not as tall. He was quite small, in fact - well, only when next to me, as he always was... He was wearing dark grey/black striped drainpipe jeans, a white ruffled shirts with huge cuffs, a large black polka dot cravat from his neck and a black tailcoat. He also wore patent black winklepickers, almost topping the point on mine. He wore no eyeliner, because of his eyes, but he layered his eyelids with lightblue sparkley eyeshadow. Not very noticable, but in the right light, it was beautiful. This applies to the silver glitter on his cheeks too.
He was hopping around quietly behind us with his trusted film camera, taking pictures of Midnight. His pictures were magnificent. Coincidently, we met when we were both taking photographs of an Eevee, a rare occurence in our village, and have been best friends ever since. We both longed to be photographers, and pokemon trainers..well, breeders mostly, but we wanted to travel. That is why we are in this current situatuon - we both wanted to do those things, but neither thought we could manage them all on our own so we agreed to travel together, one a pokemon trainer, the other a photographer. We agreed that I was always slightly better with pokemon, and he was a better photographer.
It's a win-win situation. Or so it seems. Walking along this seemingly desolate path, hearing noises, catching random flickers of light out of the corner of my eye (not camera flashes...)), I'm not so sure. I'm not scared - afterall, I chose this place due to my love of dark pokemon, but, being protective and paranoid, I fear for my pokemon and friend...
I sigh quietly, but that short sigh suddenly snapped to a short gasp when...
(OOC:a little bit of an intro there...(x how about that for detail? x))
edit:(OOC:soyes, I've changed my profile story too. And I need my promo pokemon updated, thankyou. x))
A stunky comes out of the shadows! It roars, and then bites Artemis' leg! It looks angry, but you can't tell why.
I stumbled backwards slightly, with shock, then leaped forwards towards Artemis, to attempt to remove the Stunky, thinking it had attached itself to him. Luckily, I was wrong, and it had just bitten him.
I didn't bother to think of type advantages and the like, I just yelled to my pokemon, quite unsure of what I was saying,
"Midnight, use bite, and let it see how it feels!"
If the appearance of this small pokemon hadn't shocked me, sending adreneline surging through my body, I probably would have been quite embarressed by my attempt at a 'SuperHero Moment'.
I watched Midnight bend back on her hind legs, prepearing to pounce forward at the Stunky...
Midnight bit the stunky hard, directing its attention to Midnight, and getting it away from Artemis. it used.. FLAMETHROWER? Yes, it used flamethrower, doing moderate damage to Midnight.
