Kurenai Wataru, brand new pokemon trainer, decided to begin his journey with Tamar Lane. "Normal pokemon shouldn't be that hard to fight..." He said looking at the new pokeball that contained his Chimchar, Momotaros. "If we're lucky, we'll find a munchlax, or a skitty, maybe even a meowth to join us." Kurenai said looking affectionately at Momotaros' pokeball.

As you continue down tamar lane, you see a skitty running across the path. Chasing it is the one trump to your idea! REGIGIGAS! But its energy send you flying backwards, so you have no time to catch it. After that little shock, you see an igglybuff! It looks at you angrily and has a few scratches. Maybe regigigas got to it. But before you can think straight, it attacks you.

"What, just, nevermind. Momotaros, let's go! Ember!" Kurenai called as he threw the pokeball he had been holding for so long. He Chimchar came out and send fire spewing from his mouth aiming to hit the Igglybuff. "This shouldn't be too hard, it's just a baby pokemon."

Regigigas Returned! It koed igglybuff, then chimchar, and then things went black. You wake up in a hospital... <- Never mind that... Inner warlock moment.. ^_^ .

Ember hits igglybuff, doing some decent damage, and then igglybuff uses defence curl, which will make the battle a wee bit longer.

"Momotaros. Use Leer, then follow up with another Ember!" Kurenai said sitting down seemingly bored. He was still a bit confused about what he had seen earlier. Oh well he was fighting in an easy battle that he should win giving Chimchar so decent exp. So he thought.

The combo worked well, and igglybuff winced, and just used another def. curl. What is up with that?

"...Does it only know defense curl?" Kurenai thought sitting down bored. "Momotaros, same thing. Leer then Ember." Kurenai said figuring this would be a boring battle. He liked to fight pokemon with a little more than defense curl....

Igglybuff was leered, but then it used toxic! It hit chimchar in the face, and shocked him out of ember.

"Toxic? That's crazy! Okay, Chimchar, this just got interesting. Momotaros, Fury Swipes!" Kurenai said thinking the poison would be out of Chimchar's face by now.

Chimchar used fury swipes, but he missed with one of his arms all the time.. you saw it had a wound in it, probably made by the poison... The igglybuff used double team, and then used rain dance! Looks like ember might not be as effective!

"Momotaros, come here for a second." Kurenai said whipping out his only potion. He tried to spray it on Chimchar while avoiding this apparently magical igglybuff. "If you're okay, use Fury Swipes again."

(100% normal.. just using TMs..)

Fury swipes hit hard, and igglybuff looks worse for wear.. It uses another defense curl. But still seems weak.

"Momotaros, leer then fury swipes!" Kurenai said realizing he had this match all set in stone. He would win this match easily and continue down the path, once this little annoyance was out of the way of course.

Fury swipes knocked out igglybuff and Chimchar gains a level and .5 happyness!
You continue along the path, and find a meowth. It stares angrily at you, and scratches your face!
