Title: And here the journey begins...
Description: I'm so excited!

Flareon_Girl - October 14, 2007 02:14 AM (GMT)
"Ahh, the start of a new journey." Dusty sighed, smiling as she breathed in the fresh, forest air.
"Mystique, come out to see the view and look at this scenery." Dusty said and pulled out the only Pokeball containing a Pokemon that she had, and tossed it out in front of her. White light flowed out from the red and white ball and a cute fire Pokemon popped out, stretching.
"Cynda!" squeaked a newly received Cyndaquil.
"How are you felling, pal?" Dusty asked. Cyndaquil smiled, showing it's teeth.
"I'll take that as a good sign. Do you mind if I nickname you Mystique?"
"Quil." The little fire Pokemon shook her head.
"Great! Lets get started then." The rookie trainer and her Cyndaquil strolled passed a few trees, thinking that it seemed a little quiet to start with.
"Pokemon catching will be so much fun! I'll catch you lots of friends, Mystique. And don't worry, I'll train you to be a strong Typhlosion, just you wait!" Dusty told Mystique. The Cyndaquil squeaked with satisfactory.

Angie - October 15, 2007 12:41 AM (GMT)
The bushes beside you rustle. You figure it's just the wind and keep walking down the little path in front of you, but Mystique doesn't seem so sure. "Cyndaaa!" Your Pokemon cries out in terror as it looks into the bushes behind you. You stop dead in your tracks and run back to where your Pokemon is standing. It runs behind your leg, obviously frightened of whatever is in the bush. Will you take a look or run for your life??

Flareon_Girl - October 20, 2007 01:09 AM (GMT)
Dusty creeps slowly up to the bush. Mystique growls slightly as Dusty swallows. Her hand nears the bush and.........

Tenshi - October 20, 2007 10:22 AM (GMT)
A little Budew popped out! "Budew~" It cried out at you. Mystique growled at the Pokémon which caused the Pokémon to assume that Mystique was going to attack it. The little Pokémon stepped backwards and used Absorb on Mystique. Budew drained some HP from Mystique. The attack was not very effective though.

Flareon_Girl - October 24, 2007 06:57 AM (GMT)
"A Budew?" Dusty questioned. "alright, a Budew! This is going to be fun. Mystique, now is a good time to use a Leer attack, then follow it up with a Smokescreen. Go for it!" Dusty commanded.
The fire Pokemon leered at the Budew, causing it to let its guard down a little. Then, a cloud of smoke came from Mystique's mouth and floated towards the Budew.

Charizard38 - October 24, 2007 07:08 AM (GMT)
Both moves work well, lowering Budew's Defence and Accuracy. To completely the round of nn-attacking moves, Budew uses Water Sport, which raises it's resistance to Mystiques attacks, then Growth, meaning it can hit you harder. Your move.

(OOC: Since I'm new to this moderating business, I'm not sure if you're allowed to post 2 mves at once. I'll let you off for now, until some slightly better mod tells us)

Flareon_Girl - November 7, 2007 07:20 AM (GMT)
"Water Sport? That Budew's smart..." Dusty sighed. Mystique looked at Dusty, wondering what she was going to say next.
"OK! If Budew's going to lower your Attack, then lets lower Defence in return! Lets go, use another Leer!"

(OCC: Sorry, I'm new to this aswel. On a different subject, I haven't been here for about a week and I really like the way that Dragonair's Den been changed. ^_^ )

Reclaimer - November 9, 2007 01:33 AM (GMT)
The Leer works well, lowering the opponent's Defense a lot this time. Budew reacts to this with an Absorb, regaining health.

Flareon_Girl - November 11, 2007 08:54 AM (GMT)
"Lets go, Mystique, lets try to wrap this battle up with a combo of a Leer attack and a strong Tackle!" said Dusty to her little Fire Pokemon.
'These Leer attacks should make this Tackle attack do a reasonable amount of damage, not too much more but enough for satisfaction." Dusty thought as she commanded Mystique.

Reclaimer - November 17, 2007 04:07 AM (GMT)
Budew's Defense is once again lowered and the Tackle does more damage. Budew hangs on, however, and used another Absorb, stealing a bit of health to keep her going.

Flareon_Girl - November 26, 2007 05:35 AM (GMT)
"Mystique, run at Budew and Tackle! Try to avoid its next attack so you can quickly react." Dusty called to her Cyndaquil. Mystique charged at the Budew, beginning to get tired.

White Moondust - November 29, 2007 07:31 PM (GMT)
(DD would like to apologise for your wait)
(OOC: You may use 2 moves at once. My bad.)

This was really a battle of attrition - both of you was gertting tired. But the tackle really did take it out of Budew, and reduced it to its last tiny bit of health. Budew tried an absorb, but it really wasn't much help.

This battle will be over by the next turn.

Flareon_Girl - May 11, 2008 10:55 AM (GMT)
"Mystique, lets wrap this up!" called Dusty to her Fire Pokémon. "finish it off with one last Tackle!" Mystique charged at her Grass opponent, and tackled it to the ground. Dusty stared. Was the Budew down? She saw it lying there, and it didn't move for a few seconds. x_x

(Um, yes....can Dusty throw a Poke Ball at it? :sweatdrop: If she can, she just did.)

Caffeinated Doom - May 11, 2008 03:58 PM (GMT)
Cyndaquil happily pounces on the plant thingy, pinning it down...with its pins! Ow, that's got to hurt. :XD: But anyway, it makes the Budew hold still while your Pokeball flies at it. UFP alert! (Unidentified Flying Pokeball). Budew would ball up its fists in rage if it had fists; instead, it just settles itself for fighting the Pokeball at every turn. Rocking around the Pokeball at the Christm--sorry, the Pokeball stopped rocking while I was typing that. :XD: Nickname? :3

A random Starly appears in front of you. Twinkle, twinkle, little Starly, how I wonder what you are-ly. Time for a battle. :3

Flareon_Girl - May 12, 2008 08:22 AM (GMT)
(xD Lol, nice!)
"Ohh yeah! A Budew! I'll call it (her?) Budds!" Dusty decided, and Mystique happily squeaked. Dusty picked up her Poke Ball, and turned around to remember that Starly who randomly appeared.
"Another battle! Mystique, lets go!" The small Fire Pokemon pounced in front of the Starly, startling it slightly.
"Start it off with a Leer!" Dusty instructed.

Dark - May 13, 2008 10:02 PM (GMT)
The piercing glare lowers Starly's defense, but Starly ingored it and attacked with peck. It is a direct hit and Mystique flies into the air...
