Title: Life among spirits
BOC2 - October 13, 2007 04:18 AM (GMT)
The small, pale figure of a human could be seen through the mist, wandering idly and with a pronounced limp in his left leg. A cloud of black and purple smoke was swirling around his being, engulfing him in its fumes. Upon closer examination, the vague form of a ghastly could be seen in the smoke. Through the mist, the boy's eyes could be seen... A feral yellow glow to them that seemed to pierce the surrounding mist, boring into whatever they were focused upon at the time. He growled-a primal sound from deep in his throat-looking around wildly. "This desolate place will do to begin with," he muttered to nobody in particular. "Yes... it will do quite nicely for one of my stature... Fitting for my demeanor... My condemned soul should fit well here. Now, we must seek, seek and grow stronger..."

You catch a glimpse of something dark and...shadowy ensconced within the shadows. (Imagine that.) You sneak closer for a better look and realize it's a fierce looking Shuppet. Its eyes meet yours, and its curiosity appears to be piqued.
BOC2 - October 14, 2007 12:26 AM (GMT)
The trainer smirked, staring at the shuppet with a glint in his eye. "Go... Dark Pulse..." A black shockwave shot out from Ghastly's now-visible body, expending in a circle. "Yes... This is good."
(( Any attack that it can learn, I can use, yes? ))
Alma Altars - October 15, 2007 01:13 AM (GMT)
Dark Pulse hit Shuppet and she cringed in pain. She then used a Shadow Ball, doing some devastating damage.
(OOC: Yes, that's correct.)
BOC2 - October 15, 2007 03:08 AM (GMT)
"...Bah." The trainer shook his head, putting a pale finger to his temple. "Knock it out, then. Hypnosis, Ghastly." Pulses of ultrasonic light shot out of the ghost's eyes, flying quickly towards the Shuppet.
Alma Altars - October 21, 2007 01:25 AM (GMT)
Shuppet fell asleep instantly. She couldn't do anything now. I suppose it's your turn again.
BOC2 - October 25, 2007 11:11 PM (GMT)
"Dream Eater." The Ghastly floated over to the unconsious ghost pokemon, hovering over its head. A content expression appeared on his face as he absorbed the essense of the shuppet's nightmares...
Alma Altars - October 27, 2007 12:55 AM (GMT)
Shuppet took some mild damage and Ghastly gained a lot of health. Shuppet was still asleep, though, and was thus unable to attack.
BOC2 - October 27, 2007 04:05 AM (GMT)
Bane lifted one of his pokeballs out of his bag, pressing the button. The ball expanded to full-size. "Heh... Let's see if that was enough." He tossed the sphere at the sleeping Shuppet, smirking as it went straight at the sleeping pokemon.
Alma Altars - October 28, 2007 01:02 AM (GMT)
The ball hit and absorbed Shuppet in a bright red light.

Shuppet was caught! Would you like to nickname her?
As you picked up her Pokéball, you were attacked by a Drifloon.
BOC2 - November 1, 2007 10:55 PM (GMT)
The boy laughed, placing the newly-occupied pokeball onto his belt. "Back, Ghastly. You're done." A red beam of light recalled the ghost pokemon to its pokeball. He quickly grabbed another of the small orbs from his belt, tossing it lazily in front of him. "Alright, Weaville. You're up." The small, black pokemon with the appearance of a bipedal weasel appeared from the red glow, licking its left claw impatiently.
The trainer grinned, nodding in the direction of the Drifloon. "Don't hold back. Hit it with a Night Slash, and aim to kill." The sneasel dashed towards its floating adversary, the claw that she had licked glowing with fel energy. She nimbly jumped over the floating orb of a pokemon, stopping on a dime and leaping at the creature from behind, claws outstretched as she prepared for attack.
(( Yes, I would like to name it Luna. ))
Reclaimer - November 5, 2007 12:34 AM (GMT)
Night Slash ripped through Drifloon, dealing outstanding damage. Drifloon hesitated, but attacked with an Ominous Wind attack, doing very poor damage to Weavile.
BOC2 - November 7, 2007 02:27 AM (GMT)
"Feint Attack," he muttered, seeming almost bored. The Weaville seemed to multiply with speed as he charged the faltering drifloon, barely flinching from the Ominous Wind hit. She leaped at the floating ghost pokemon from the shadows, going into a full-on rush.
Suppi - November 14, 2007 05:25 AM (GMT)
The attack hit, knocking out a good amount of damage. But Drifloon retalliated, and used Ominous Wind again; but this time it hit hard and flung Weavile back a couple of meters. It then shot a shadow ball at the claw pokemon.
