At the end of Willow Way stands a round, wooden, brown hut covered in vines and vibrantly-colored flowers of an unfamiliar species. It doesn't look like a shrine, but you've searched everywhere else along Willow Way. You might as well have a look. You step inside.
The floor is soft, earthy, and clean... or as clean as a dirt floor can be. o_O In the middle of the hut is a white stone altar with green vines growing on it. The top of the altar is covered with sparkling dust, perhaps from some precious gemstone. Sitting in the dust is a silver pokeball. You lift it up to examine it. It's heavier than a normal pokeball. There is some lettering on it: "GUARDIAN - SOLANA." Out of curiosity, you press the button...
In a flash of light, there appears the spirit of a Dragonair.
Her violet eyes gaze upon you with... warmth and kindness? That doesn't match up with what you've heard about the Elemental Spirit Guardians. As though reading your mind, she replies to the question before you even have the opportunity to ask.
"Millennia of anger and resentment toward humans has tainted the hearts of my Brother and Sister Guardians. It may be difficult to believe looking at them now, but in life, they were compassionate and saintly." She pauses. The warmth in her eyes fades to melancholy.
After a few seconds, she returns her attention to you and smiles once again. "Traveler, I presume that you are here to seek my aid. I pray that your venture through Willow Way has taught you many things. Most importantly, I hope you have seen both the beauty and the power of plant life. Please show me your plant Pokémon so that I may assess it."
Choose your best grass type Pokémon and prepare for battle. It does not need to be a pure grass type, but grass must be one of its types. If you have none, go get one! You will not be allowed to switch Pokémon at any time. Solana will summon the spirit of a different grass type Pokémon to battle yours. The spirit grass type Pokémon has no different abilities or weaknesses than if it were an ordinary grass type.
