so down the route we went searching for people and pokemon

A Beldum floated up to you, looking oddly atyour Charmander. "Beldum?" It asked. I suppose it wanted a battle.

i check my pokedex and say "sweet a beldum, and it wants to battle too! go charmander start the battle off with ember!" thinking about how nice it was in asking for a battle (the beldum :P )

(Yes, you can have a Pokedex. (: )

The ember attack made it's way over to the floating Beldum Pokemon. The attack hit, causing some damage. The Beldum got ready to attack your Charmander. The Beldum uses the only attack it knows, take down! It causes little damage to your Charmander.

"good job charmander!" i say after charmander hits beldum with his ember "do it again this time dodge the takedown and counter it with fire blitz!" while charmander starts to use ember i go to sit on a rock. when i sit down the rock moves! i look and find a ...... ( ooc :beldum: a sweet pokemon)

The ember attack does the same amount of damage as last time. This time your Charmander dodges the takedown attack successfully! The fire blitz attack hits and causes damage to the Beldum!

i start to wonder if i can keep it as a second pet as we called them in my dimension. so i threw what i learned earlier was a pokeball. i really hope it catches and for backup i tell my charmander to bite beldum and hang on to it after it comes out.

Beldum concentrated on the ball that was coming at it. He perfeclty timed it and used a Take Down, hitting the ball back to you without being sucked in in the process. It would take a little while more before this Beldum was ready to catch.

grrr i shoulda tried something else i thought then i told charmander to use fire spin then to use will-o-wisp and to also dodge the takedown again. then i told it to do flare blitz just like last time after he dodged the takedown. :charmander:

Charmander nodded at the commandments giving. Charmander stood in place and started off with the attack, Fire Spin. The fiery tornado flew straight at the Beldum as it was flying downwards from the Take Down attack. The tornado sucked Beldum up and trapped it in its scolding heat.

A ghostly flame soon sparked off and onto the Beldum, which was Charmanders Will-o-wisp attack. The Beldum was burned. The Beldum soon lunged its self through the Fire Spin and used Take Down on Charmander, unluckily Charmander was hit by this attack and was damaged intensely.

Charmander flinched! Beldum used Tackle knocking Charmander flying. Beldum also lost some HP because it was burned.

"good job charmander now try to do a flame blitz again then use fire fang when the beldum is coming at you with its takedown! that way it takes lots more damage and do it after i try to use a pokeball!" i said to charmander while thinking i hope its weak enough to catch. then i got an idea "charmander if it hits you when it uses takedownbite it and use outrage at the same time and dont let it out of your grip and don't make it faint! ok!"

(OOC: :sweatdrop: Please try to limit the number of commands you use per post. It seems like you're just calling out every attack it could use. If Charmander was given that command I think it would get very confused. Try one or two attacks a post.)

Charmander used Flare Blitz, doing massive damage, but also taking a lot of recoil damage. You toss the Pokéball and it sucks Beldum up inside.



Beldum popped out. It seems he still has a small bit of health too much to catch right now. One or so more attacks should make him catchable.

"good job charmander!" i call out to my charmander "now try to use bite after you retrieve the pokeball for me!" :angel:

Charmander Bites Beldum and gets the Pokéball, bringing it back to you. Beldum then uses... What a surprise... Takedown. It misses though. Beldum is now very low on health.

"good job charmander!" i say praising him for his hard work. i decide to throw the pokeball charmander just retreived for me it floats to the beldum and it . .. ... ....

The ball smacks into Beldum, sucking him up in a red light.

"ok charmanderlet's make this a quick battle. use crunch but don't let go of it and use outrage while you've still got it. if you miss then we'll try again using a different technique"

(OOC: Actually, that's in the rules or one of the guides. It's somewhere, I just can't remember right now. Basically, no. Just like in the games your Pokémon only gets experience throught making the enemy Pokémon faint.)

Chomps down hard on Mawile's head. She tries to shake him off, but it unable to. His Outrage then does massive damage since he's so close to her. She tries to attack, but can't hit him while he's on her head.

Flames engulf Mawile completely as Charmander thrashes her about in an Outrage. She takes constant damage and finally shakes Charmander off. She then uses Iron Defense.

"Good job Charmander! now let's try a different technique. run up to the mawileand pretend to tackle her and run behind her and use flame blitz." i say after charmander does his attacks

Mawile braced herself for a Tackle, but Charmander jumped to the side just before hitting her and got behind her, hitting her right on with a Flare Blitz! She took amazing damage.

"GREAT JOB CHARMANDER! our plan worked perfectly! now this time do it again but actually give her a taste of a takedown and use flare blitz again!
charmander felt pleased at sound of my voice praisin him he nodded andran at the mawile again to see what would happen if it didn't listen to me and it used fire fang then flare blitz

Mawile dodged both attacks this time, and bite Charmander with her giant jaws. She did a lot of damage.

"nice try charmander and good job hang in there and use aerial ace and while in mid air use dragon rage" charmander said its name as a sign that it heard me then looked at the mawile with an angry look and lifted off into the air with great speed

The salamander pokemon crashed into Mawile with the powerful attack, which did fantasic damage! Mawile was furious, and swung her giant claw around which batted Charmander a couple of metres; however this didnt do much damage.

"good job charmander. now let's finish it off by biting it and right after using fire blast" i told charmander proud of its work

Mawile caught on to your strategy and barely dodged Fire Blast. She then bit Charmander once again.

"right then, charmander, use aerial ace then right before you hit use fire blast." i ordered my charmander while trying to make a new strategy

Mawile is at last defeated. Charmander gains a level. A trainer walks up.

"Hello. Would you like to battle me?"

yes a trainer i thought now i can ask why everyone has pokemon "Yes i would like to have a battle but first could you tell me why everyone has a pokemo and could you also tell me what dimension or place this is?" i ask the trainer after accepting the battle. sendng out my heracross.

"Huh? I do not understand..." The trainer looked puzzled. Mustn't be very clever. Should be an easy battle! "HERACROSS! COOL!" The trainer then bellowed. "I've always wanted one!" The trainer released her Stunky.

"Hey... care to make this interesting...?" She asked. "How about, if you win, I'll give you my Stunky, and if I win, I'll claim your Heracross!".

You looked at her Stunky. It didnt look powerful, infact it seemed it looked a little burnt. Must of been from a different battle!

"Trade?" i asked not understanding that pokemon could be traded."sure, why not." i say finally getting that i could trade pokemon. "how many pokemon do you have anyway?" i asked making sure it was a fair match. "is that okay with you heracross if we win we get the stunky on our team so you'll do this to stay on my team right."
my heracross nodded that it was okay with it and shot a powerful focus balst into the air to show its competetiveness.

Stunky looked determined.

"I have three more Pokemon, but Stunky is my favorite. I'll show you my other ones if you manage to get past Stunky. Now for Scratch!!"

Stunky leapt forward and scratched Heracross, though Stunky ended up with more damage from its burn.

"all right, heracross show him what you've got and give him a brick break with a megahorn to follow up." i called to my heracross hoping that we could win the battle.

The stunky was it by brickbreak, but dodged the megahorn, It then used Screech, and hurt all your ears, but lowered heracross' defense, and hit heracross hard with a scratch that did lots of damage.

(OOC: I only did that because of your constant use of double attacks, which are kindof unfair to the other only-attack-once-a-turn pokemon. I won't do that if you use them less. You can use them some, just not nearly every post.)

Critical hit! Stunky fainted. Heracross gained 3 levels!

"Eh... um... that was just a warm up!" Stunky's trainer remarked. "You can have Stunky only if you defeat my other three Pokemon... but you'll only get to see this next one, because that's all it will take for me to win! Go, Buneary!"

Buneary popped out of its Pokeball and twirled gracefully like a ballerina, smiling cutely.

"Heracross do you want to stay in and take on buneary." i asked my Heracross. Heracross nodded yes and i yelled "stand your ground and let it attack first then use counter."

Your Heracross stood there and took the attack! It then used counter! The point wasn't communicated well, I guess! Luckily, the attack was only a pound, and didn't do that much damage.
