Title: The Willow Way
Description: My first route!

Pokegeek1201 - October 11, 2007 12:12 AM (GMT)
After getting my starter pokemon, I decided to go on this route for no particular reason, exept catching and training pokemon of course.I decided to look around for items. No luck yet...

[sprite]bulbasaur[/sprite] :male:

Alma Altars - October 11, 2007 01:06 AM (GMT)
Suddenly, a Treecko jumped out of a nearby tree and stared angrilly at Bulbasaur. He then used a Pound on him! Apparently he wanted a battle!

Pokegeek1201 - October 11, 2007 11:19 AM (GMT)
"Well, Treecko, I acept your challenge!Bulbasaur takle attack!"I screamed.Bulbasaur takled the Treecko with all his might, but the Treecko was still holding on.I threw a pokeball at the treecko...

[sprite]bulbasaur[/sprite] :male:

Tenshi - October 11, 2007 03:09 PM (GMT)
The ball landed soundly next too Treecko and sucked the Pokémon inside of it. The ball wiggled furiously and the Pokémon, Treecko hopped out of it. Treecko used a pound attack on Bulbasaur damaging it.

Maybe you should wait longer to catch the Pokémon, weaken it. (:

Pokegeek1201 - October 11, 2007 08:12 PM (GMT)
Dissapointed, I said Bulbasaur"Keep at it!"After a large ammount of tackles, the Treecko looked weak enough, so I through another pokeball at it."Please catch it...."

[sprite]bulbasaur[/sprite] :male: I'm hungry.

Alma Altars - October 11, 2007 08:41 PM (GMT)
(OOC: When catching Pokémon, it will usually take about 5 or 6 turns before they're even close to ready.)

Treecko Spun halfway and pounded the ball right back to your hand. He then used an Absorb, not doing much damage.

Pokegeek1201 - October 11, 2007 08:54 PM (GMT)
"Come on Bulbasaur, I'm running out of pokeballs here!Sleep powder!" Bulbasaur had made the Treecko fall asleep in a few seconds."Now tackle!" Bulbasaur tackled the Treeco.Luckly, it was still alive.

[sprite]bulbasaur[/sprite] :male: Go me!

Angie - October 13, 2007 09:17 PM (GMT)
(I'm sorry but saying "It made the pokemon fall asleep" is an example of god modding. That's my job as moderator to decide if the attack works. You should probably go read the role playing guide found here: RPing Guide )

The sleep powder attack hit the Treecko, causing it to immediately fall fast asleep. Your Bulbasaur grunted as it came crashing down upon the still sleeping Treecko with a tackle attack. The Treecko seemed to still have a lot of health. It would take a lot more hits to get this Treecko into your Pokeball!

Pokegeek1201 - October 15, 2007 07:29 PM (GMT)
"Ok,let's try again.Bulbasaur, give it another tackle!"Bulbasaur was getting tired, but it still attacked with no hesitation.

:bulbasaur: :male: He'll make a great partner!

(sorry about that! :sweatdrop:)

Tenshi - October 16, 2007 05:44 PM (GMT)
Bulbasaur lowered its head and leaped towards the Treecko, tackling it straight into a willow tree. The Treecko immediately woke up and yelled. "Treecko, Tree~" The Pokémon shouted as it ran up towards Bulbasaur smacking it with the attack, Pound.

Pokegeek1201 - October 17, 2007 09:16 PM (GMT)
"So, he's awake...I guess this means it's time for another sleep powder!" I said."Bulbasaur!" my Bulbasaur said as he launched the attack.

[sprite]bulbasaur[/sprite] :male: We will catch you!!!!

Alma Altars - October 19, 2007 12:48 AM (GMT)
Treecko was once again hit by the poweder and immediately fell asleep, now unable to attack or defend.

Pokegeek1201 - October 19, 2007 10:02 PM (GMT)
"Okay, tackle attack!"I said to Bulbasaur."Bulba."said Bulbasaur. It's the same thing every time...I need to spice it up a little...

:bulbasaur: :male: Time to sing the pledge of allegiance! "I pledge allegiance to the flag..."

Tenshi - October 20, 2007 10:27 AM (GMT)
Bulbasaur lowered its head and sprinted off the back of its feet and smacked itself right into the Treecko! The Treecko's HP fell down quickly. It was starting to get weak by the look of things but so was Bulbasaur. The Treecko woke up too the attack and used Slam, smacking its long tail into Bulbasaur's face.

Pokegeek1201 - October 24, 2007 10:00 PM (GMT)
"Well, another sleep powder, and we'll be ready to catch it! You know what to do!" I say to bulbasaur.

(If the sleep powder works, I will throw a pokeball.)

:bulbasaur: :male: ... of the United states of America...

Alma Altars - October 25, 2007 01:06 AM (GMT)
Treecko catches on to the strategy. He swiftly leaps backward and climbs up a far tree, avoiding the powder.

Pokegeek1201 - October 28, 2007 08:36 PM (GMT)
"okay then, time for our secret weapon...Bulbasaur, hold it with vine whip! Then follow it up with sleep powder!" I say. I never thought I'd have to use it this way. This is one exiting battle.

:bulbasaur: :male: Okay, hurry it up here, I'm getting tired.

Alma Altars - October 29, 2007 10:51 PM (GMT)
Treecko is caught off guard by the vines and the powder sends it to sleep immediately.

Pokegeek1201 - October 30, 2007 11:51 PM (GMT)
"Okay, time to finish this!" I shouted. "GO POKEBALL!!!!!!!!!!" The ball flew towards treecko...

:bulbasaur: :male: The suspense is killing me! :XD:

drawring of a key - October 31, 2007 08:08 AM (GMT)
The ball wiggles. A lot. You watch with bated breath until it finally comes to a rest. Treecko added to your team...finally!

You walk. And walk. And walk. Is it hot out here or what? You find yourself developing a good sweat. Which is readily absorbed by a marauding Tangela. Wait...what the heck? :sweatdrop:

Pokegeek1201 - November 3, 2007 01:04 AM (GMT)
Holy cow!! This should be good."Well, my Treecko is worn out from capture...So go Bulbasaur!" I shouted. Bulbasaur jumped out of the pokeball."Tackle attack, Bulbasaur!" I told my Bulbasaur.

:bulbasaur: :male: And this is how my trainer became a grass trainer.

[sprite]Treecko[/sprite] :male: Yeah, won't be seeing us on the pyro dunes!

(Sorry, no Treecko sprite!)

(The X is my bulbasaur and the ? is my treecko.)

Reclaimer - November 4, 2007 11:40 PM (GMT)
Tangela was kocked far back by the Tackle, and retalliated with a Vine Whip, hurting Bulbasaur a bit.

Pokegeek1201 - November 5, 2007 11:55 PM (GMT)
"Okay, looks like this could take a while."I say"Bulbasaur, takle attack!" Bulbasaur flies toward the Tangela...

:bulbasaur: :male: Whee! Who new flying could be so fun!

[sprite]Treecko[/sprite] :male: :pikasleep:

Angie - November 6, 2007 10:47 PM (GMT)
The tackle attack is pretty effective, causing damage. The Tangela uses a poisonpowder attack. Your Pokemon dodges it. How lucky! Your turn.

Pokegeek1201 - November 8, 2007 09:35 PM (GMT)
"Since it can poison Bulbasaur, I guess I should use sleep powder. And I should hold it with vine whip so it won't dodge the sleep powder. Well, Bulbasaur, test it out!" I explained to Bulbasaur. "Bulba!" Bulbasaur said as he launched the vine whip.

:bulbasaur: :male: "Bulba?" come on! Even you can do better than that, pokegeek or whatever your name is.

[sprite]Treecko[/sprite] :pikasleep:

Reclaimer - November 9, 2007 01:28 AM (GMT)
Tangela uses a Vine WHip of her own, stopping Bulbasaur from holding her in place, and allowing her to dodge the Powder. SHe then Vine Whips Bulbasaur.

Pokegeek1201 - November 9, 2007 10:09 PM (GMT)
"Okay time for a strategy of my own. Tackle attack Bulbasaur! If Tangela uses an attack, dodge, resume the tackle, and hit Tangela with sleep powder.

:bulbasaur: :male: Brilliant!

[sprite]Treecko[/sprite] :male: :pikasleep:

Suppi - November 13, 2007 06:37 AM (GMT)
Bulbasaur was just about to ram into the vine pokemon when suddenly Tangela grabbed bulbasaur with a vine attack and threw into into a tree. The attack, luckily, did little damage. Bulbasaur got back up and charged towards Tangela - which was shocked that the bulb pokemon hadnt fainted - and slammed it into another tree! This time, the attack did decent damage.

Pokegeek1201 - November 16, 2007 08:46 PM (GMT)
As I watched my bulbasaur ram into the tangela, for the first time, I saw how powerful my bulbasaur was."All right!" I screamed to the emptiness of the wood."Hit it with another tackle, my loyal friend!" "Bulba!" Bulbasaur grunted as he, instead of flying, actually flung himself towards the tangela.

:bulbasaur: :male: And I realized that I can train treecko to be my minion! *Insert evil laugh here*

[sprite]Treecko[/sprite] :male: :pikasleep:

:bulbasaur: :male: Uh... Treecko?

Reclaimer - November 17, 2007 05:37 AM (GMT)
Tackle hit Tangela right on and she flew back and hit a tree, extremely weak. She used another Vine Whip, but did little damage. Your move again.

Pokegeek1201 - November 18, 2007 01:19 AM (GMT)
"Hehehe..." I laughed. My bulbasaur looked at me like I had lost my mind, but I hadn't yet, cause I had hatched a plan. " Bulbasaur, don't worry, my brain is still in my head." I said to bulbasaur. Knowing that it wouldn't do much damage, I called out " Vine whip, then combo with sleep powder!" My bulbasaur was kind of weirded out by the same combo over and over again, but he attacked anyways like any good bulbasaur should.

:bulbasaur: :male: Hatched a plan? I thought our trainer was leaf man not bird man!

[sprite]treecko[/sprite]:male: (snaps out of sleep) You owe me $5.00! (resumes sleep)

(Yay! I got the Treecko sprite!)

White Moondust - November 18, 2007 09:14 AM (GMT)
(OOC: Have a medal)

The tangela was hit by a strong vine whip, and was left on it last bit of health. The sleep powder after hits well, and puts Tangela to sleep for good measure. It's catch or kill now, really.

Pokegeek1201 - November 18, 2007 01:24 PM (GMT)
I smiled from ear to ear. "This is going to be fun." I told myself. "But this is going to be one of my last catches on this route. Go pokeball!" This tangela could be captured and put to good. That was exactly what I was thinking as the pokeball flew towards the wild tangela.

:bulbasaur: :male: Don't look at me, I'm speechless.

[sprite]treecko[/sprite] :male: :pikasleep:

White Moondust - November 20, 2007 08:56 PM (GMT)
By some compltely illogical method, the Tangela breaks open your pokeball before it wobbles once, before resuming sleeping. The pokeball rolls back to you, ready to use again.

Pokegeek1201 - November 20, 2007 11:05 PM (GMT)
Well, that was strange, I thought in the back of my mind, but in the front of my mind, I was thinking: Okay now your asking for it. "Well if you want to mess with logic, I'm all game! Bulbasaur, let's finish this! Tackle attack!" I screamed out of enthusiasm.

:bulbasaur: :male: I'm running out of things to say, how 'bout this!: I'm running out of things to say, how 'bout this: I'm running out of- hey wait a second!

[sprite]treecko[/sprite] :male: :pikasleep:

Reclaimer - November 22, 2007 04:46 PM (GMT)
Tackle defeated Tangela and Bulbasaur gained a level. You continued and found a Cherubi. It stared at you calmly.

Pokegeek1201 - November 23, 2007 01:24 AM (GMT)
"Hurray, I found a creepy, staring cherubi! Lucky me! Go dark shuppet, battle this guy to the deaths; and make sure it's the cherubi's. Lets see what you can do!" I flipped through my "Pokemon for dummys" book untill I found "shuppet attacks" and looked through the attacks." Only two attacks? Better than one." I mumbled. "How about knock off? Yeah that'll do.""Shuppet!" Shuppet said in an erie tone.

[sprite]bulbasaur[/sprite] :male: Finally, some sleep. Zzz...

[sprite]treecko[/sprite] :male: What did I miss?

[sprite]darkshuppet[/sprite] :female: Hello? where's the welcome wagon?

Tenshi - November 23, 2007 04:24 PM (GMT)
Your Shuppet dived at the Cherubi, it knocked the little cherry Pokémon onto the floor. The Cherubi wasn't holding any items therefore none came off. Cherubi stood up on it's feet and launched a Leech Seed attack on Shuppet, the small seeds opened up and drained a little of Shuppet's HP.

(Occ: You can use any attacks here that Shuppet can learn. It doesn't need to be the exact level.)

Pokegeek1201 - November 24, 2007 08:14 PM (GMT)
"Okay , shuppet, use- AHH!" I said as shuppet scared me by disappearing and then reappearing behind my back and screaming"SHUPPET!!!" What? I scare easy. It scared me so much that my "Pokemon for dummies." book fell out of my pocket on the page with shuppet's attacks, and I happened to notice the attack "Shadow ball" and figured I might try it out. "Well, lets try shadow ball, shuppet!" My shuppet was so busy laughing, he didn't seem to hear me. "I said, shadow ball!" But shuppet had already started the attack.

[sprite]bulbasaur[/sprite] :male: :pikasleep:

[sprite]treecko[/sprite] :male: :pikasleep:

[sprite]darkshuppet[/sprite] :female: Gees! Just because I don't have any ears dosn't mean I can't hear!

(Occ:I know that! Why do you think my bulbasaur knows vine whip?)

Scy - November 25, 2007 05:45 PM (GMT)
(OOC: Cuz it's a Genius? ^.^ )

Shuppet managet to ram Charubi into a tree with the force fromt he Shadow Ball, doing a decent bit of damage on the tiny pokemon. Cherubi squeaked in surprise, and sent out a Magical Leaf which hit Shuppet (Because it always hits) and did normal damage for a Magical Leaf attack... whatever normal is :P
