Title: Yay Halloween!

Suppi - October 8, 2007 04:42 AM (GMT)
I know it's not halloween yet, but I thought i'd make a topic just for the fun of it >=D

Do you guys celebrate halloween? It isnt that big over here in australia, and i'm a bit old to go trick-or-treating... But that doesnt stop me xDD! Plus i love watching all those scarey movies that come on TV... even if i have nightmares for the next couple of days xD;

Joan - October 8, 2007 05:11 AM (GMT)
I used to. But now that I'm older, the holiday just seems cheesy to me for the most part. I still like it somewhat, but it's not a holiday I look forward to. It does make a nice excuse to eat lots of candy, though. :ghost: I could go off on a rant about Halloween, but I won't because no one wants to hear it. :XD:

Tenshi - October 8, 2007 03:24 PM (GMT)
I luff Halloween, it's the bestest holiday ever. It's the time when we TP people's houses trick or treat and just watch scary stuff! Yay horror movies. (:

Angie - October 8, 2007 06:58 PM (GMT)
I love Halloween! Especially this year... (:

-I'm getting this step of my braces off the day before.
-My birthday is two days after Halloween.
-Candy
-Movies
-Dances/Parties
-Fun!

=DD

Shadow of Regice - October 8, 2007 10:14 PM (GMT)
I luv halloween!!! In my area no one comes to my street, so late I will run around the street and fill my pail 5 times... then I get sick, and try to beg my parents into keeping me out of school the next day... good times!

Alma Altars - October 9, 2007 12:04 AM (GMT)
I've heard the 'rant' before Joan, it makes a lot of sense. I mean, the most I've ever dressed up as was some character from some show. It was too long ago for me to remember. :XD:

Anywho, I love Halloween just because it's the only time I can play practical jokes on my family and friends other than April Fool's Day.

Kazokumaru - October 10, 2007 07:15 PM (GMT)
Omg I luff Halloween. it means I'm another year older. Birthday is the 30th. I love it. I'll be 14. TOTALLY going trick-or-treating. And I might egg my PDR teacher's hoouse get my mom to keep me home the next day. Having school on November 1st is atrocious. Halloween rocks my socks.

OMG YOU DIDN'T TELL ME THAT's YOUR BDAY! I thought we were married :(

:XD: I do agree though. Everyone stays up so late it's like you just go to school to sleep somewhere else!

Shadow of Regice - October 11, 2007 03:35 AM (GMT)
I think there should be a warrant that teachers have to sign if they want their kids or themselves to get candy, that lets us TP their houses, and throw eggs at them!

Angie - October 11, 2007 07:25 PM (GMT)
Lol, SR. My teacher said that once he was living in a bigger town and the kids from school TPed the neighbor's house and thought it was his. So he was like to those kids: "Oh, yeah! You trashed my house bad!" So that the next year his real house wouldn't get trashed.

ALMA! You bad husband. :(
I've told you like five times! xD

Sera - October 12, 2007 09:22 PM (GMT)
Never TPed or egged a house. I have gone around and shaving creamed people's cars. First year my friends and I didn't go Trick-or-Treating. Needless to say, no matter what I do, I have always, for almost 19 years, skinned my knee of Halloween.

Otherwise, I love it. ^_^

drawring of a key - October 13, 2007 09:39 PM (GMT)
I'm probably too old for trick-or-treating, now that I'm eighteen. Sad times. (I could probably get away with it, though. Everyone in real life says I look sixteen at oldest, and I was accused of being a freshman so many times last year.) But I am going to be helping at my college's Halloween Carnival thing. That should be fun.

Angie - October 13, 2007 10:20 PM (GMT)
Oh, that does sound like fun! Well, it depends on how you look at it, I suppose. I have no clue if you were being sarcastic or not. xD

drawring of a key - October 14, 2007 12:21 AM (GMT)
That's okay...neither do I. :XD:

Alma Altars - October 27, 2007 06:02 AM (GMT)
*Revives* Halloween's in 5 days! Hooray!

In celebration, I've put my Pokémon from Pearl into costumes! Huzzah! Go ahead and look, they're in my siggy.

So is anyone planning anything special for Halloween yet? Any long, complicated practical jokes?

Charizard38 - October 27, 2007 06:37 AM (GMT)
Yup. I going to nick Joan's mongooses and put them somewhere she won't find them - with Alma's sheep! But don't tell her *hides* :ghost:

Otherwise, probably not.

I lurv Halloween! I really like pranking people, even though I get into trouble some times. It's not about the candy. It's about the CANDY!! >:D

In my school, hsers still go trick-or-treating, they just don't go up to the doors to get candy. It's more about dressing up, walking around town, and chilling with your friends. xD

Hawkstorm - October 28, 2007 09:25 PM (GMT)
Oooh I always love Halloween, it signals the coming of Cross Country Regionals/State XD

We had our Trick or Treat last night, but I didn't get much because I didn't go door to door getting candy XD I was wandering around town trying to find my parents and everyone was like "here have some candy!" so I got some :P I didn't end up finding my parents though XD I prolly would have if I wasn't stopped every 5 minutes getting "How'd you do?"s and "OMG Congrats!"

Ahhh the feeling of going to state... <3

Oh, Right, That's what I like about Halloween XD

Charizard38 - October 28, 2007 09:28 PM (GMT)
I don't mind Halloween, but my parents aren't as much fun. Which will not please the local chavs (or the drunk for that matter, but everyone will find it funny to watch him all night lol)

Ricky & Shadow Lugia - October 31, 2007 11:12 AM (GMT)
You know, trick-or-treat is a bit like begging. Don't get me wrong, even though I haven't done it ever. You just waltz up to the door and the instant you say "Trick or Treat!", you're begging.

Who had to go to school today? I didn't because I have an Inset Day :ghost: :XD: Yay.

Shadow of Regice - October 31, 2007 02:19 PM (GMT)
I have yet to go there.....

My PE coach said that he doesn't think there should be a holiday based on candy..... So we thought of the funny things you could tell people to do for his ideal halloween

Happy Hallowe'en

But why isn't there a Hallowe'en promo!? :o

Charizard38 - October 31, 2007 08:22 PM (GMT)
It's the scavenger hunt, which I was personally looking forward to.

I've come back from trick or treating. was good fun, and got lotsa sweets lol.

Shadow of Regice - October 31, 2007 11:52 PM (GMT)
Im going out soon... I love candy!

Angie - November 1, 2007 01:29 AM (GMT)
Just got back. ;D
Lots of candy.
I'm gonna have to brush my teeth for like... thirty minutes. xD
