Mawlish finally has a Neodex entry! Huzzah! user posted image

And those who were lucky enough to get a Mysterious Egg of Mystery from the third anniversary promo can now hatch them here.

The Dragonair's Den Version I Archive is now visible. It contains the old RPG posts (minus the Pokemarts and Pokemon Centers). I thought it had been visible to everyone since the advent of Version II in July, but apparently not. :sweatdrop: So if you'd like to reminisce about your old journey, or you're just curious to see what happened in the old RPG, there it is.

I'm aware that some of it is a bit out of order. It's not very high on my priority list, but I do intend to fix it.

:o My eternal gratitude to Charizard38 for a wonderful code! (Which he gave me weeks ago and I just now tried out... :ghost: but anyway...) No more having to try to memorize the long url of my Photobucket account to post images. With this new code, we have a sprite tag, similar to the IMG tag. Now when you are writing a new topic or reply, you will see a sprite button.

user posted image

Press it and a box will come up asking you to type in a Pokémon's name. For example, type in Pikachu and you will get this:

CODE
[sprite]pikachu[/sprite]

When you post, the sprite tags will convert into the proper code and you will see the image!

If your computer blocks the popup window needed to use this button, you can simply type in the sprite tags like above. If a Pokémon's name is more than one word, type it as just one word and no punctuation:

mrmime = [sprite]mrmime[/sprite]
doublebluedratini = [sprite]doublebluedratini[/sprite]
mysticeevee = [sprite]mysticeevee[/sprite]

Be sure to use all lower case letters with the sprite tag. Otherwise, it might not work.

Shiny sprites are not yet added, as well as some specially colored Pokémon (like RWB Corphish). For an Elemental Spirit Guardian, type in its name. Speaking of which, we have a new Elemental Spirit Guardian to introduce! Could it be... the Elemental Spirit Guardian of CHOCOLATE?

[sprite]zirc[/sprite] : Um... no.

Darn. Looks like it's just Zirc, Elemental Spirit Guardian of Gems and Minerals. You'll find his altar in Petro Ridge.

Please welcome our newest moderator, Charizard38!

Congratulations to former moderator Alma Altars on his promotion to administrator!

And hooray for this ghosty thing! :ghost: *is easily amused*

EDIT://
Once again, thanks to Charizard38. Now shiny Pokemon sprites can be posted using the new Shiny Sprite button. It works the same way as the sprite button. You don't need to add the word "shiny" to the Pokemon's name.
CODE
[shiny]ditto[/shiny]

will give you: [shiny]ditto[/shiny]

I swear I'm losing my mind here. I could have sworn I already made these, but I couldn't find them, so I made them again. Red Dratini, Dragonair and Dragonite have been redone! Huzzah!

[sprite]reddratini[/sprite] [sprite]reddragonair[/sprite] [sprite]reddragonite[/sprite]

Also, RWB Corphish has been updated.

Old: :rwbcorphish: New: [sprite]rwbcorphish[/sprite]

And finally... more hooray for the ghosty thing! :ghost:

Hooray for more new stuff!

Well, this first one isn't exactly "new," per se. Ever since Version II of the RPG was introduced, there has been a new heading under everyone's profiles called "partner." I was going to explain it back then, but figured there was enough confusion just explaining the basics of Version II. :XD: Now you can check out the NPCs and Journey Partners Guide and the Journey Partners Forum to see what it's all about.

And thanks to a suggestion by Angie, there is a new... thingy. (Hey, I woke up at 4:00 p.m. and can't think today, okay? :XD: ) I'm sure many of you have been annoyed by the fact that you can only switch Pokémon in between routes. Well, no longer! You may switch Pokémon at any time during your journey. Do not go to a Pokémon Center to do this. You can still only visit Pokémon Centers when you finish a route. Simply add an OOC comment at the beginning of your reply in your journey telling the moderator which Pokémon you'd like to switch.

However, something else has to change as well. It may seem like this would make healing items completely useless. Not so. Now Pokémon will not be healed simply by putting them into your box. They must be healed with healing items or at a Pokémon Center.

For those who are very unobservant... we have a new skin. We'll be keeping it after Halloween, so get used to it. I think I've worked out all the bugs, but let me know if you encounter any problems with it.

My name has changed from Joan to Raven. You may still call me Joan if you prefer. Like many of you who have changed your name before, my old name will still show up on pages where I have posted before. This should be fixed when Invisionfree fully converts to Zetaboards... whenever that is.

The administrator formerly known as Fire Starter has been tainted by the darkness and is now known as Raven's Servant. Huzzah! ^_^

A happy Halloween and Samhain to you all. :ghost:

Just a small note. The ending date for Team Rocket's current auction has been changed from November 4 to November 10. Some silly Rocket can't count. :sneaky:

An altar has been discovered in Pachi Venue. Meet Ionia, the electric type Guardian.

Join us at 5:00 p.m. Central Time on November 8 for a Pizza Party in the chatroom! Unfortunately, pizzas do not travel well over the Internet, so you'll have to bring your own. :ghost:

Yes, I am making yet another reply instead of creating a new post. I'm allowed!

Eh, I made some updates last night but didn't have time to announce them.

Work has begun on the DD Itemdex.

The Healing Items section of the Pokemart has been opened! It even has potions now. Imagine that. Not like some incompetent person forgot to stock them last night. *cough* :sneaky:

And now... 2 semi-new items... *drumroll*
:spicyonigiri: Spicy Onigiri raises your Pokémon's Happiness by 1. It can be found in the Evolution section of the Pokemart. (Sprite by Fire Starter!)
:sweetonigiri: Sweet Onigiri heals your Pokémon and raises its happiness by 1! It's the more expensive of the two, of course. This is found in the healing items section. (Sprite by Silverstream!)

Healing items can now be used in the Evolution and Item Use forum. Maybe I've just lost my mind, but I can't remember why I made that rule in the first place.

The function of pokeballs has changed slightly. The Pokemart has more information.

A new section called "Starting" has been added to the Version II Guide. This will hopefully help new members figure out how to begin. It may even clear up some things for not so new members, so please have a look at it. (You don't all have to start in Willow Way! :o )

Thanks to Fire Starter, dark Pokémon now have a PWNSOME new look. You heard me. There is simply no other way to describe them adequately. :XD:

Other examples can be found in his signature.

You didn't know we had dark Pokémon? They were given out in extremely limited quantities in the past, and most of the people who own them are probably inactive by now. Hmm. Perhaps we'll be seeing more dark Pokémon in the future.
