I know this is a little... I don't know..bad... But I just want to help.
There are lots and lots of reply requests, and none have been replied to. Its been two days since I posted my reply request, and no reply. They are just building up. I was wondering if it was just the school syndrome, but even so, its still kind of annoying. Also, of the new ones chosen, Angie and WT are the only mods I have seen reply to journeys (please correct me if I am wrong), which is kind of weird.

That's exactly what's happening to me! I hadn't had a reply for six days until I posted a Reply Request and it's been antother few days and still nobody replied! I support this topic!

I know W.T. has posted a few, as Angie was complaining how he was over-complicating things XD.

And this people, is why I have commisioned a computer program to reply for me on my board. Although I've still got like, 400 things to change on it. Shouldn't take long :sweatdrop:

Well I would say that the Mods do have social lives and currently everyone has been going back to School. Around September it's a hard time to come on the forums due to School, Social Lives, and Stuff etc.

I've been limited to my time on Dragonair's Den, although it says that I'm logged in it's probably I've accidentally left my computer on. I've been having family problems at the moment and I'm having it hard at home. :( I try to reply to Journeys. (I usually have those big updating sprees)

I also think that some Mods are just plain lazy. Don't look at me. :sweatdrop:

I agree. I haven't seen an update from some mod's in quite a while. I think that they could be some system that mod's should reply to at least a certain number of journey's a week, unless they have a good reason (or their name is Tabby XD).

That's a good idea. I was thinking about the Moderator Assignment, we used to have something like that, but with the number of members we've got it would be much harder to do.

For your idea I would asume that you would need to atleast reply to 15-30 Journeys or more a week! o_o;

No. Only 5-8 ish. Most of our members aren't active.

or each moderator has to reply to like 8 journeys one day of the week (not weekend)... Or they are each assigned a day of the week. Or something that gets me a reply a few times a week. Not once in 7 days... Its almost been a week, and I have also requested for a reply. and how would the auto reply work?

An auto-reply only works on a Statistics RPG.

Well I dunno whats your guy's problems with updating is, cos I seem to be getting regular updates. And if I have to post a reply request, it's done rather quickly @_@ Hehe, I'm special ^_^ :banana:

I'm sorry, but I've been incredibly busy lately as well. I will try to get a good amount of replies in tomorrow though, between homework and the Browns game of course.

I would suggest that one or two mods be assigned to a particular route/town if there weren't so many people in Willow Way and so few people in other plaves like Galvalume Gorge...

Yeah, like what Tenshi said, September is a stressful, but extremely fun month. I've been up to a lot of stuff!! I'm gonna reply to all the journies I can today because of my inactiveness. (:

Eeh, i'm the laziest mod ><!!! But fear not, I am starting to reply. I have been inactive cause of my end of term exams - but now next week is the last week of school for me, and i will be active for my two week break :]!

But during Late October/November/Decemeber i maybe a little more inactive as thats the last term of school for the year. And thats the most important/hardest term ><

Well, I know this topic's a bit old now, but I figured I'd say something.

I used to be extremely lazy as far as my moderating duties went, but as of late I've been working super hard to reply to every journey in need of a reply every day. I figured it was about time I finally started doing what I was accepted into the staff to do. Better late than never I suppose. And it's because I wanna be an admin! I care about every last one of you! And I really love this site. My favorite actually. So as long as you all post, I'll be on later to reply! YAY!

I've replied a few times... x_x I'm sorry, guys. It started out that I was busy trying to keep all the UGT journeys up to date, so that's why I wasn't replying here. Then, I got Pearl, which was sucking away all my time. I'm trying to get back to replying, but Alma always has them up to date, so... :XD:

I myself have been quite guilty of laziness lately. Like has already been said, I know some mods are busy with various things, but I will consider everything here and assess the situation.

At the moment, it looks like Alma is the only one doing much replying. And I must say, Alma. You've gone turbo with replying :P

There have only been reply requests and some general discussion forever... KILL ALMA AND REPLY ANYWAYS!!

I have 2 reasons why I don't reply at the mo;
1) I am very busy with school stuffs.
2) To be honest, the site is dead because there are virtually no active members. Every time I lg on, there are no new topics! We need ot breathe life back into this place.

To be honest, the only reason I don't see active topics is because no one get replyed to. I have to say I check this site about...10 time daily and well, every time I do, there is a range of 1 to 5 members (not mods) on. Now and then, I do see W.T. and Tenshi on but that is about it.

I know we all have lives and exams are coming up (has her own in 2 weeks) but can't we all just pop on for a bit, do quick posts and go? It doesn't need to be long a detailed for now as we don't have the time.

Well, Strangely enough, I have school to deal with, yet I have lots of free time @_@.

Anyway, more free time means I can get on lots of times daily... But everytime I do, very few topic are replied to.

You may not know, but there are other things to do on DD for staff that is not repliyng to journeys. For instance, Snotar's neodex entry took just under 2 hours, and thats bearing in mind I have a computer program to write it all for me. And the new breeding center als needs moderating.

I tend to do my bulk replying at weekends, as it's the only time I really have to spare with school and whatnot.

Trust me, I know how frustrating it is to have to wait for something to do here - 2 months ago, I was only a normal member. But moderating is a lot more difficult than you may initally think. Unless you are Tabby. Because Tabby never does anything XD.

But to shut you all up, I will see if I can reply to you lot later, after my homework.

I hate to say this, because I know you've all heard it hundreds of times here and everywhere else, but really. I have a TON of school stuff going on. every time something big comes up, I literally have to study for at least 2 hours, and my homework takes about an hour alone.

Okay, I'm not gonna lie and be like: school school blah blah school crap.
cuz my exams are over and it's the beginning of the trimester. xD

so pretty much. on the weekdays I'm lazy and talk to my friends and hang out of myspace too much. xD

on the weekends I'm never home cuz I go to my friend's houses every single week.

so I guess I'm gonna have to be more dedicated. sighhhh...

In the mods of Dragonair's Den's defense, modding is stressing as heck. I was a mod for awhile on another site, and I found it nerve wracking like you wouldn't believe. I'd spend upwards of thirty minutes to make a good reply. From what I've seen in my odd pops on, the updating is doing well enough. But I suppose, if it was as active as everyone says when Almoo was on his update spree, then it WOULD seem a lot slower now.
