Jack stepped onto the trail after wading through tall grass and was met with a "crunch". He had stepped on a twig... How exciting. Jack was clutching his starter's Pokéball. "You know what... I'll let you come out." Jack spoke to the Pokéball. And so, he tossed it forward. It split open and Jack's starter, Charmander, materalised from a white light infront of him in. "Char!" Charmander was very excited and showed this by bouncing on his tail and by doing this, launching himself at Jack. Jack managed to catch the over-excited Charmander and put the orange fire lizard down on the floor next to him. "You sure are lively aren't you?" Jack chuckled. Charmander's flame grew brighter to show it's happiness, and it backed this up with another "Char!" ...

Charmander jumped up and down a few times, before tripping over a rock! It began to tumble down a slight slope, before running into a Wild Oddish. Charmander was Okay, but the Oddish seemed upset. It tried to use a sleep powder attack, but luckily Charmander managed to Dodge it.

"Ok Charmander. This is our first battle so let's do it good. Use a Slash attack on that Oddish!" Jack shouted. Charmander understood. With claws extended, Charmander lunged at the Oddish. It was strange -- Charmander was a usually exciteable Pokémon but he seemed to turn serious when it came to battling. Jack liked that...

Charmander's sharp claws came in contact with the tiny weed pokemon, and it screeched in pain. Oddish didn't seem to happy you injured it, and it used Abrorb to gain a few hit points back, although it did hardly anything to Charmander.

"Charmander, Give it another Slash" Jack said. Charmander again, extended his claws, and lunged at the Oddish for a second time. Jack clutched an empty Pokéball he had pulled out his bag -- He was going to catch the Oddish, or at least try to...

OOC: My stuff from the 2007 Promo hasn't been added to my Profile yet. I requested a Snorlax, Leftovers and those 7 Rare Candies.

The attack hit the Oddish, causing it to fly into the air and land with a "thud!" sound. As it struggled to get back to it's feet, your Charmander turned it's back, getting too cocky. The Oddish got to it's feet and used Stunspore, causing your Charmander to fall to the ground. You hear snoozing sounds coming from Charmander... uh oh!

Jack decided he was going to end this battle now, so he threw the Pokéball at the Oddish. Oddish was absorbed into the red and white sphere in a beam of red light. The ball shook...

It shook for a few moments and the little Oddish hopped out of the Pokéball, maybe it was too soon to be caught. The Oddish skipped side to side and then stuck its tongue out at you. How rude! The Oddish then used a Stun Spore on Charmander causing it to be paralyzed. The Oddish then took this opportunity to use a Razor Leaf on Charmander. It shot out a fury of leaves.

Jack had no choice... Charmander was almost out... Then he remembered. He returned Charmander to it's Pokéball in a flash of red light, then he threw another Pokéball into the air. "Go, Snorlax!" Jack yelled. The large, bulky figure of Snorlax, the Pokémon he obtained from a Promotional Event, appeared onto the battlefield, materalising in a flash of white light. "Body Slam!" Snorlax stood up on it's two feet, which compared to it's body, were small, then flung itself at the Oddish...

You finish your outcry towards Snorlax, who dives for the Oddish. "No!" you shout, "Not in the diiitch..." Too late. Snorlax plummets into the ditch with a gigantic cloud of dust. Oddish is unaffected, except for a sudden burst of coughing spasms. Guess that rude tongue of his wasn't dust-tight after all. With "baby steps" that rock the entire clearing from side to side, an embarrassed Snorlax crawls out of the ditch.

"Ok, Snorlax. Body Slam Oddish again, but this time, Try not to land in a ditch..." Snorlax grunted, stood up back to it's full height, then yelled "Snooooor!" and flung it's entire body at the little grass Pokémon...

Your Snorlax sat right on the little Oddish and started snoozing. You wonder whatever happened to the Oddish! You hear a horrible scream and realize that it's hurt badly!!! Will you help it or let it suffer?

"Snorlax!" Jack yelled, slapping his head into his right hand. Jack unclipped Snorlax's Pokéball, yelled "Return, Snorlax!", and in a flash of red light, the giant Pokémon disspaeared, revealing the injured Oddish. Jack rushed up to the leaf-headed Pokémon and kneeled down next to it. "Hey Little guy..." Jack said softly, rubbing the Oddish's head gently. "I'm sorry about my Snorlax.. Do you wanna come with me on my journey? I can keep you protected from Snorlax..." Jack held out a Pokéball. He felt guilty for injuring the Oddish and so was giving it a choice...

The Oddish stuck it's "nose" in the air and shook its head. It was being quite stubborn. You were still sitting there with your hand out with the Pokéball perfectly sitting on your palm. "It's up too you." You sighed withdrawing your hand. The Oddish looked into your eyes and made a soft cry, "Oddish, odd!" It made up its mind, if you could maybe, just maybe defeat it in a battle it would let you catch it. Will you battle the little Oddish?

Jack nodded in understanding. "Ok then, Oddish... Go, Snorlax!" Jack threw another Pokéball into the air and the large figure of Snorlax appeared oncemore. "Snorlax!" It grunted. "Snorlax, Ice Beam!" Jack commanded. Snorlax grunted again, and without budging, began charging up ice energy in the back of it's throat...

"ODDISH!!" The Oddish cried out in terror as it ran behind a rock. It peeped out from behind and when it did your Snorlax released the Ice Beam. It froze and cracked the rock, leaving the Oddish out in the open. Survival mode kicked on... it used sleep powder, causing your already sleepy Pokemon to fall asleep. Your turn...?

"That's helpful..." Jack said sarcasticallly. He decided to use the one thing that Snorlax loved other than sleep to wake her up. Food. But he didn't have any food on him. Lucikly, a brainwave caught him and Jack yelled out. "Snorlax! Wake up and you'll get some food!"

Snorlax snored on. Looks like that's not going to work. Oddish, feeling a little bit more confident, got closer to Snorlax and began to suck some of its health away, healing itself a bit. The weak Absorb hardly did anything to your slumbering pokemon.

Jack sighed. "The one time it doesn't hear 'Food' " Suddnenly however, Jack had a brainwave. "Snorlax. Use Snore!" Jack said. He was sure Snorlax would hear the command. If she didn't, then Jack was out of ideas.

Snorlax's ear twitched and it let out a giant snore.

"SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAX!"

Impressive. Oddish was stunned and especially hurt because it had no hands with which to cover its ears. It took a lot of damage and seemed about weak enough to capture. *Hint* *Hint*

Jack grinned. Snorlax's loud mouth finally payed off. He reached for a Pokléball and threw it at the Oddish. *hint taken =P* It sucked up the Oddish in a beam of red light and began shaking...

*Wiggle* *Wiggle* *Wiggle* The pall stopped and a calming boop sound was heard. You caught Oddish! (I'll update it.) Would you like to nickname it?

As you continued, you saw a flash of light not far off and a small, green, fairy-like Pokémon appeared. "Bi?" It looked around and then saw you. "BI!" It was frightened and disappeared in another flash of light. Whatever Pokémon that was, it sure seemed strange. As you stood thinking, you were attacked by a Shroomish!

(I have 3 pokéballs left Alma. I treid to capture it twice.)

"Woah! Charmander, let's go!" Jack unclipped Charmander's Pokéball and threw it into the air. The lizard Pokémon materalised in a flash of white light. "Flamethrower!"

Your Charizard giggles and runs into the bushes. It comes out with a Pokeball... weird. (Maybe it's because you're so honest, it wanted you to be rewarded. I don't know...) It comes back and shoots an amazing flamethrower at the Shroomish causing major damage! The Shroomish used a Giga Drain, recovering a little from that powerful attack. Your turn!

"Nice One Charmander." Jack said, taking the Pokéball. "Let's see if that Flamethrower worked." Jack threw the recently obtained sphere and threw it at the Shroomish. It opened and the Shroomish was abosrbed into it. The ball shook...

*Wiggle* *Wiggle* *POP* The ball popped open, but luckilly it wasn't damaged and could still be used. Shroomish kicked the ball out of anger, and it flew right back to your hand. Shroomish then used a Headbutt on Charmander!

"Charmander, Give it another Flamethrower!" Jack commanded. Charmander obeyed and released a large jet stream of flames at Shroomish.

Shroomish tried to jump out of the way, but was struck my most of the flames. SHrromish was burned, too! It cringed in pain.

Jack decided for another try at catching the Shroomish. So, he threw the Pokéball that the Shroomish had escaped from, yet not damaged. The ball opened up and sucked in the Shroomish. It began to shake.

The ball shook three times and stopped. You've captured Shroomish! Would you like to nickname it?

As you continue you find a Chikorita!

((No nickname for the Shroomish. And also, what is this? Parade of the Grass Types? =P))

"Is this parade of the grass types today?" Jack said, casually tossing Charmander's Pokéball. The ball opened and Charmander appeared in the usual white light. "Flamethrower that Chikorita, Charmander." Jack said.

(OOC: o_o; Well it is Willow Way, the RPG route of Grass Types. :XD: )

Flamethrower hit and Chikorita was knocked back a bit, grunting in pain. She shook it off and ran forward using a Tackle attack!

"Charmander! Dodge and use Flamethrower again!" Charmander nodded, and in an attempt to dodge, jumped into the air, also releasing a Flamethrower at the same time.

Chikorita missed as Charmander dodged. Charmander's Flamethrower then hit point blank and Chikorita fell to its knees, cringing in pain. It had been burned!

Jack pulled out another Pokéball and threw it at the Chikrorita, who was abosrbed into the ball in the usual red light. The ball began shaking, as Charmander began bouncing on his tail once again, his flame burning brightly.

As you continued, you found a Jigglypuff!

"Snorlax, Let's Go!" Jack said, tossing the Pokéball, which the form of Snorlax materalised out of. "Body Slam!" Snorlax grunted, got up, then charged at Jigglypuff, jumping into the air...

Snorlax came crashing down on Jigglypuff, who was squished and fainted. Must of been pretty weak to faint that quickly. No levels gained, either. You sighed and returned Snorlax. As you continued, you found a Carnivine!

"Carnivine... Intresting... Charmander, you're up." Jack said, tossing Charmander's pokéball. Charmander appeared onto the ground from the Pokéball. "Charmander, give it an Ember." Charmander did so, and released dozens of fire pellets at the Carnivine, the Pokéball that resembled a Venus Fly Trap plant in so many ways.

"Carnivine!" Carnivine said as he tried to get out of the way of the Flamethrower. Unfortunately, he was unable to and was hit with the flames! He then used Crunch, and did a lot of damage!
