Jason walked on the beaten path that he was sure so many other trainers had traveled on. He looked around and sighed contently. He decided to take a quick rest before wandering off into the wilderness. He lay down in the grass and closed his eyes. He was just going to close his eye's for a while...
"Promise me you'll be safe!" His mother said. "I promise mom!" Jason replied, "I'll come and visit you and dad as soon as I can!" Crystal looked at her son and she felt tears roll down her face. "Oh, come here!" She grabbed him and gave him a great hug. "Mmmom, your squishing me!" Jason said his voice slightly muffled.
"Crystal if you keep holding him like that he'll suffocate!" Said a deep voice from behind them. His mother let him go and Jason turned around to look at his father. "Don't forget to keep in touch!" His dad said, "If you don't your mother will hunt you down!" He and his dad chuckled. His father bent over and helped pick up his pack and his other items. He walked them out to the door and Jason and his mom followed.
He grabbed his bag and walked down the stairs of their front porch. He turned around and waved and began walking. This was a new start, and he hoped he'd meet a lot of friends along the way...
Jason woke up with a start. He looked around, slightly confused of where he was. Memories flooded back to him and he relaxed. He stood up and stretched. He looked down at his belt and pulled off a red and white ball. He threw it up in the air and a second later there was a bright flash.
"Chika!" Squeeked the green pokemon that lay in front of him. "Hey there little buddie!" Jason said, "Ready to go explore?" He asked it and without waiting for a answer he started wandering off in a random direction.
After wandering for around half an hour, Jason comes across a darkened clearing. The willow trees are especially thick around the fringes, and the air feels just a tad damp. A perfect place for dark-loving plant Pokémon to congregate.
An anticipatory smile on his face, Jason begins scouting out the clearing, looking for Pokémon.
"Chiko!"
Apparently Chikorita found something before you did! His front leg is pointing towards the base of a willow tree. Upon closer investigation, Jason discovers a snoozing Shroomish taking a nap in the shade of the willows.
Jason smiled as he saw the small grass type pokemon sleeping. He could throw a sneak attack and have a great advantage. "Ok, Razz I want you to use Poisonpowder and follow up with a Razor Leaf!" He whispered.
"Chika!" Razz responded with a nod and the Pokemon slowly advanced on the sleeping Shroomish. Jason held his breath as Razz got closer. Shroomish evolved into Breloom which was a awesome Pokemon. He just had to catch this little guy!
He pulled out a Pokeball out of his bag. He would not lose the oppertunity to catch Shroomish. "Chika!" Razz turned around and Jason gave a slight nod telling it that it was ok to attack.
The posionpowder attack was super effective and poisoned shroomish. This caused it to wake up from the pain and was more alert now. Chikorita attacked with the razor leaf attack right away! Shroomish was knocked over backwards and struggled to get back to it's feet. It's expression turned from sleepy to angry when it finally did get back up. Shroomish used a poisonpowder attack on your Chikorita, which was also super effective. Chikorita was harmed from being poisoned. You'll have to do something quick or else this battle may not go your way after all...
