A light wind blew through the overhang of the willow branches casting moving shadows across the path and across the young girl leaning up against one of the old trees. It was the type of day where one would just want to be outside but always in the shade as the direct sunlight was just too bright.

She leaned up against the tree, one leg bent up against it as well as she turned the pokeball over in her hands. A smile was growing on her face as she pointed it towards the ground. "Come on out Kala!" She called out into the wind as a red beam appeared and a Ralts appeared before her.

"Ralts?" The small pokemon looked up at her and cocked her head.

"Hi. I'm your trainer." Sera smiled as the pokemon came up to her. "Ralts?"

"I'm sure things will work out for us." Sera smiled as the Kala turned away from her and started walking away. It took her a moment to realize it but after blinking and turning her side from side to side quickly, Sera noticed her moving pokemon. "Kala!" She called out pushing off the tree with her hands and leg and ran after her pokemon.

Kala seemed to be walking twords a tree full of fruit. It stared at the high braches at the best ones. Stopping in the shade of the tree, she used a Confusion attack to knock one loose. It came tumbling down, and landed a few feet from Kala.

Before the Ralts could take a step, though, a Weedle jumped out of the bushes and stole the fruit! Uh oh.

"Kala!!!" Sera called running after her pokemon as she saw the fruit drop. For a pokemon so tiny, Kala was quick when you didn't pay attention to her. I will have to keep in mind to watch her more closely. Last thing I need is for her to wander off and something happen. She thought with a worrying sigh as she kneeled down just behind her pokemon.

"Ralts! Ra Ral Ral"She seemed very happy as she went towards her fruit. Just as she was going to reach out for it, the rusling leaves stopped her as Weedle jumped out and helped itself. Sera could see the frustration, or what she thought it to be, appear on Kala's face. The little white body seem to tighten and glow.

"Kala!" Sera called out trying to stopped Kala from the confusion attack but too late.

Weedle was thrown into the air, crashing into a tree before sliding down to the ground. The super-effective attack took a lot out of Weedle, but it managed to get up and use Poison Sting. Kala takes some poor damage, and is luckily not effected by poison this time.

"Ra...Ralts!"The little pokemon called out as she shook off the posion sting. She seemed even more upset but this time, it was directed at Sera as she turned her head up at her trainer as if to tell her that she was part of this as well.

Sera nodded down at her pokemon. She understood that Kala wanted her help and wasn't too fond of her for trying to stop her. "Kala, use Psychic!" She called out pointing quickly to the Weedle as her pokemon nodded and started to glow again.

Weedle took another Super Effective hit, and somehow managed to absorb the impact by flipping in the air and landing on a bush nearby. It screeched in anger (Well, screeched like a bug that is) and sent out hundreds of tiny strings, entangling both you and Kala in sticky web from the String Shot.

Both Sera and Kala twisted in the sticky mess. "Wait a minute. Since when did I become part of the attack?" Sera blinked wishing she had a knife on her as she also wondered how in the world a bug pokemon had attempted to screech.

"Kala, use Magical Leaf to cut us free and attack Weedle!" Sera called out as she watched Kala focus on leaves around them.

Your Ralts sent glowing leaves everywhere, easily cutting through the web. Some of the leaves hit Weedle, who didn't seem to take much damage from it. The weedle sent a Poison sting, pitifully missing your Pokemon.

"Ralts...Ra!"The little pokemon called out as both Trainer and pokemon shook their limbs free of the sticky thread. It was just in time that Kala looked up and saw the poison sting complete miss her. The pokemon cocked her head and looked confused at the huge miss."Ralts?"

"Thank you Kala. Now, let's try this again. Psychic attack!" Sera called out as Kala started to glow.

The Weedle was picked up, and sent crashing into the ground. It, somehow, managed to stand back up. But it was too weak to attack, and it revealed that one more attack would finish it.

Sera's eyes looked over the Weedle. Something inside her felt horrible for doing this but still, she had not planned on catching it in the first place nor battling it had Kala held her cool. Quickly, Sera turned her head before calling out the final attack.

"Kala, finish it with Confusion!" She called out as Kala started to glow once more.

The Weedle may of been down, but it was not done yet. The Weedle rolled over and got behind a rock. Ralts picked up the rock, not knowing it was a rock, and slammed it into a tree. Ralts thought it won but the Weedle was still there. Ralts was there in confusion, wondering what happen...

"Kala, shake it off. You aren't done yet." Sera called out as she watched Kala look from the Weedle to the tree and back to the Weedle.

"Ralts?"Kala called out completely unsure what just happened.

"Come on Ralts. Attack again with Confusion on the Weedle. Watch it though. It can still move!"

Weedle sent a shower of Poison Stings into the path of Confusion, and instead of Weedle hit the Poison Sting was sent flying :o Weedle dodged the shower of stings, and sat waiting for Kala's next move.

Sera shook her head. "Trickly little thing aren't you." She looked at Kala and smiled. "Use Hypnosis!" She pointed towards the Weedle wondering how quickly it would move or try something this time. For a tired bug, it was putting up one heck of a fight.

Weedle soon was absorbed into the Hypnotic waves, and slipped into a ball and fell asleep with a snore. Since it was asleep, it wasn't able to move :o

Kala walked up and poked the sleeping Ralts as if she didn't believe it was passed out. Seeing as it didn't appear to move, she smiled. "Ralts!"She said happily and proceed to head back to the berry Weedle had tried to take from her.

"Kala!" Sera called out as the little pokemon found the berry. "Bring that with you. Let's keep going." She called out waiting for Ralts and her berry to catch up as they kept walking, the little pokemon happily eating her berry.

As Ralts munches on her berry, you continue down the path. Suddenly, you notice a Sunkern wandering across the path. Startled by you and Ralts, it gets scared and uses Absorb, stealing some of Ralts' health.

"Ralts..."Kala let out as she shook a little from the energy drain. When she came to, she looked over at the Sunken.

"Kala..." Sera said warning but she was too late as Kala used a Confusion attack.

The sunkern was hit kinda hard, but it shook off the attack quickly. It used Sunny Day, followed by Synthesis to restore it's health.

"Kala! Enough!" Sera called out stepping forward and picking up a shocked Ralts. The pokemon looked back at her before giving up the fight. She knew Sera would win that battle.

As Kala calmed down, Sera placed her down and looked over at the Sunkern. "I'm so sorry about how she is acting. She seems to not be fond of others taking her berry." Sera smiled kneeling down near the pokemon. "I hope you are alright."

The pokemon was whimpering, it's eyes widen. It didnt want you to get that close to it.

"Sun... Sunkern!" It said, and it suddenly sent a razor leaf attack at you and Kala!

"Rala Ralts!" Kala wanted to battle, after all, it tried to hurt its trainer!

Sera had just got her hands up over her face in time to block the main attack but her arms were cut up. Pulling her arms down, she felt the sharp pains of the slices in them as she saw the drips of blood down her arm. "Sunkern..." She whispered before she felt Kala pulling at her side.

"Ralts...Ralts..."Kala cried out softly to her trainer. "I'm alright. Are you sure you want to?" She whispered to her pokemon who nodded back. "Alright then." Sera smiled and stood up. Kala looked up at her one more time and then looked over at the Sunkern. She was angry at the pokemon who had hurt Sera and wanted Sunkern to know it as she frowned.

"Kala, Confusion!"

Kala's eyes grew blue underneath it's hood-thingy, and the Sunkern was lifted up before being slammed into the ground. Sunkern got up, injured of course, but it also rolled around randomly. It's eyes looked dazed, and it sent a shower of Razor Leaf's into the bushes near it. Sunkern was confused!

"Ralts?"Kala turned her head to the side. It was confused already? The little pokemon was very happy.

"Kala, wonderful work!" Sera smiled at her little pokemon. "Now, attack with Confusion and hold it above the ground and bash it into the tree."

Kala nodded at you and then started using the attack. She held her amrs up to her head and closed her eyes. She was going to try to put some extra "oomph" into this attack. Your little Ralts' eyes opened, turning red immediately. She moved her arm upwards and then sideways in one swift motion. The Sunkern's beat up body flew up into the air and landed against a tree. It let out a cry of pain as your Ralts smiled. Sunkern had suffered a lot of damage. The Sunkern was still confused, so it hurt itself when it tried to attack.

Sera could see Kala smiling as she attacked. This little pokemon was full of surprises and strength was one of those surprises. With a smile of her own on her face, Sera shut her eyes for a moment. "Kala, amazing work!" Sera smiled opening them and looking at Kala.
"Ralts!"Kala called out, her smile still on her face as she watched the pokemon hurt itself. Looking back at her trainer, she saw Sera with a smile as well. She was happy to be praised.
"Alright Kala, show me your cutest Charm attack followed by another one of your powerful Confusions!"

The charm attack goes as planned, lowering the Sunkern's attack. Kala used Confusion attack, this time throwing the Sunkern up and then letting it crash to the ground. It seemed hurt a lot, but not enough to be caught or fainted. It tried to use an attack on your Ralts, but hurt itself in confusion once more.

"Ralts?"Kala called out looking up at Sera. She was shaking her head and smiling at the Sunkern. "A stubborn one, don't you think?" She said softly as Kala nodded back to her.

"Even when it hurts itself, it still wants to keep fighting. I admire that." She smiled and closed her eyes for a moment. "Kala, Confusion again!" She called out opening her eyes.

Sunkern was once again let drop to the ground, and it barely hung on (to your suprise). However, to your baad luck, it managed to use a Synthesis attack even through it's confusion, making some of it's lost HP come back, and it's wounds be attended to.

"Appears our friend here doesn't wish to go down without a little rebellion. Alright Kala, Psychic Attack! Put you strength into it!" Sera called out pointing towards the Sunkern. The little pokemon was strong and seemed willing to put its heart into everything. This was something she valued.

Ralts' Psychic brings Sunkern to a sliver of health. Sunkern spins around in confusion before hitting itself, fainting after taking damage from confusion. Ralts gains a level and .5 happiness!

"Wonderful work Kala!" Sera smiled kneeling down to hug her pokemon. She could see Kala wore a smile. She little pokemon was pleased with herself and her battle.

"Your confusion attack is very strong! I am completely impressed by your powers." Sera smiled putting Kala down and standing back up. Both pokemon and trainer wore a smile as the started down the path again wondering what would happen next.

A few eventless moments pass by, and you begin to grow bored and anxious. Finally, you see a figure running your direction from in the distance. It's moving fast and it's got...two heads? Before you can react, a frightened Doduo crashes into you, knocking you on the ground. You turn to look at the Doduo, rubbing your head in pain. Doduo lays practically motionless, only it's stomack moving as it breathes.

"Leave that bird alone. I've got plans for it." A tall, bulky man appears in the path, a large needle in one hand and a pokeball in the other. It appears that this man has poisoned Doduo in order to capture it, how cruel!

"Now if you'll move out of my way," the man says, rudely stepping over you. He grabs the poor Doduo by the neck and yanks it up onto it's feet. "Stand up, you fool." You couldn't possibly let him get away with this, now could you?

"What in the world!" Sera called out just before she got hit. Picking her head up, she looks over at it. A Doduo? She blinks as she rubs her head. Nice lumb was forming but the pain went away as she saw a man with a ball and needle.

"What..." She stops watching for a second before she watches him grab the poor bird. Not only was she just like a log for him to walk over, he was completely inhuman to be able to do this to a pokemon.

"Let it go!" Sera called out before she could react. Kala appeared at her trainer's side placing both her hands on Sera's arm that she used to hold herself up. "I said, let that pokemon go!" She pushed before to her feet sending Kala stepping back and then grabbing onto her leg. She had never seen her trainer this mad as Sera's hands turned to fists.

"Kala, use physic and get that needle away from him!" She said looking down at her pokemon. Rage was boiling in her. She could stand to see a pokemon treated this way.

Kala obeyed and focused quickly on the needle. it immediately floated up and the metal needle section bent in a way that it was certainly never going to be used again. Then, even though you hadn't ordered it to do this, Kala also psychicly lifted the Pokéball and it shattered to peices in midair. That Pokéball would never catch a wrongfully treated Pokémon.

The man turned to you angrilly. "So, you're looking to pick a fight, eh?" He smiled evilly. "FINE! Go, Haunter!" An equally evil looking Pokémon came out and began floating toward Kala! "Haunter! Show them our power! Use a Lick attack!"

Sera smiled watching her pokemon. It seemed Kala felt the same way she had. Neither of them wanted to see Doduo hurt for any reason and this man seemed worth fighting off. Still, Sera was impressed to see her little pokemon break the ball as well as the needle. Smiling down at her pokemon, she nodded. "Good work Kala."

Kala smiled back up at her and nodded her head. "Ralts! Ra..." She said looking back at the man.

"Pick a fight? You are the one starting the fight. I just don't want to see you harm that pokemon." She looked down at Kala and nodded. "Alright Kala, let's go. Hypnosis attack and Psychic. Let's show this man what we are made of." Kala nodded at her trainer before turning to the Haunter.

As Haunter was about to use Lick it was hit with Hypnosis, puting it to sleep instantly. "Grah?! WHAT?!" The man jumped back a bit, but slowly inched forward. "Get up you worthless ghost!" Obviously, he didn't seem to have much respect for Pokémon. Then the Psychic took effect and due to types Haunter took extra damage. It cringed in pain, but didn't wake up.

Sera's eyes narrowed. This man was getting more and more on her nerves as the moments went on. "Do you not have any respect or feelings what so ever for even your own pokemon?" She called out, her hands in tight fists. Looking down at Kala, she nodded. "I will not let you win this one. Kala, use Dream Eater followed by another Psychic!"

"Sure I have feelings toward my Pokémon! Right now my feeling is I never shoulda stolen this one! It's worthless! Bah! Go ahead. Attack it. See if I care!" He now seemed completely heartless. Dream Eater and Psychic hit and Haunter fainted. Kala gained a level and some happiness "Hmph. I have another Pokémon, so what do I care? Go Growlithe. I hope for your sake your previous trainer trained you better than Haunter's did."
