Title: The Lost Chapters I - Adventure Stinks

Silver - July 28, 2007 03:40 AM (GMT)
Long ago, a young, red-haired boy, began a journey in search of his missing parents. He serached many far off places, until he finally stumbled upon a legend. Supposedly, there was a place that was home to ancient spirits of great power, Dragonair's Den... In hopes that perhaps these spirits could aid in his quest to find who he truely was, the boy ventures to the Den with merely a small fire mouse for company.

This, is Silver's story.

Deep in the shadows of the cave, evil lurked....

A young boy clad in a green tunic and cap, walked nervously towards the unknown being hidden within this place. Sweat dropped from his brow and fizzled on the small lantern he held in his hand. Squinting his eyes he could make out a shape at the end of the cave. Cautiously unsheathing his sword, he slowly lifted the lantern to try to make out just what the shape was. It was only a small spider web, its tiny creator gobbling down an unlucky fly. The boy sighed, it was nothing to fear! He smiled and backed up ready to leave the frightening cave.

Suddenly, he backed up straight into what felt like a rock. But there weren't any rocks around there before. Puzzled, the boy turned around to see if there were any other rocks around there, but as he did he slipped on the moist floor and dropped the lantern. Engulfed in total darkness he fumbled around for the lantern.

After a few moments of searching, he found it hooked onto a pointy rock. He was confused as to how it got there, but still he was thankfull for his luck in finding it, he put his sword back and relit the lantern. Swinging around the lantern to look at the strange rock that had took his lantern he saw.... a large set of sharp drooling teeth. Fear filled the boy as he looked upward and saw that, connected to those teeth was an extremely disgusting spider.

The boy screamed at the top of his lungs in fear. The spider also screamed, but instead, in pleasure. The green-clothed boy bravely took out his sword and slashed it across the beasts six eyes. The monster drew back in pain, thrashing its head wildly. The boy, seeing this as a chance to escape, ran towards the the exit, only to be stopped by the vicious arachnid. The boy again tried slashing at the beast's eyes, but with a swish of one of its mighty legs, the spider knocked the sword from the boy's hand. In a desperate attempt to get back his sword, the boy threw his lantern at his foe. The lantern burst into flames on the monster's body and it screamed in pain. The boy leaped to his sword, only to be pinned down the the evil being. Its body still burning from the raging flames, came down on the boy with incredible force. The boy gasped for air, reaching madly for the sword only a few inches away from his fingers.

The spider's great weight crushing down on him released for a moment so that the monster may smash him yet again. But as the spider lifted itself for another blow, the bo quickly regained his sword and stabbed the spider multiple times. After one final scream, the arachnid fell to its side and was smothered to ash in the flames. Putting his sword back in its place, Link picked up his lantern and walked back out of the cavern...

Silver turned the game off and shoved it into his pocket. Looking around him, he noticed that it was morning. "Nothin' like an all night Legend of Zelda gamathon, eh Blaze?" He asked the Cyndaquil dozing on Silver's head.

"Cyn...da..." Came the sleepy reply.

Silver took the little fire mouse off of his head and under a tree next to an odd, purple bug-like thingy. After rumaging through his pack, Silver found a few food items. Some cereal, three pokeblocks, a stale pancake, and an uncooked hotdog.

"BREAKFAST!"

Suddenly three Pokémon pounced on Silver, all racing to get to the food first. Buggy was quickest and the little furry thing popped the three pokeblocks into her mouth. The small psychic fox was strangely content with the stale pancake, but his methods then made sense after he pulled a small bottle of syrup out of a small knot in one of the trees. The hotdog, as you might of guessed, was was roasted and gobbled by the one known as Blaze, leaving only a blech in its place. This left the trampled Silver with some dry cereal, which he didn't mind at all, it was that great chocolate kind with the marshmallows!

After the group ate their food, it was once again time to hit to the hard road of training.

Silver picked himself up and took a deep breath, but quickly began to gag. What died? Or maybe the better question is, how many things died? Certianly, this place was one foul smelling valley, but Silver knew that he must cross it. For he had heard that near the end of this path, a Spirit awaited.

After packing up camp, the four headed down into the purple-hued valley with high spirits and big nose plugs.

{{Now how's that for a post? :P }}

(o.o zelda ftw! xD and now I am going to feel bad for not replying with a huge post but I'm not feeling the best so I will post as much as I can for now)

As you finished up your cereal you packed everything back up. Lack of sleep can be a very good thing you know. Your pokemon started looking around for something to battle. Nothing says a good battle than a slightly full stomach.

You start off down the route that is know only as Venin Valley. This was a strange place to say the least... With plants that are purple insted of the classic green. You heard rumors when you came in here that it was filled with poison type pokemon.

Poison pokemon have a few weaknesses but they make great status widdlier's. But the first pokemon that you come accross is not what you would have thought you would see in this route.

You heard singing and saw a jigglypuff coming straight to you. Singing away. Jiggly's singing put you all to sleep almost instantly. I guess pulling an all nighter wasnt the best thing to do right before the start of your journey eh? But that wasn't the problem as soon as you fell asleep the jigglypuff puffed up in anger and took out its classic marker.

It leaned over you and your pokemon and had a complete feild day on your face. Marking you all up.. Then it walked off in a huff.

You woke up several hours later and looked at your still sleeping pokemon.. All of them were covered in markings. You recongized it as a jigglypuff's work.. I guess that wasn't a dream eh? You shook your pokemon awake and started off again. This time slightly more cautious of the native wildlife..

It wasnt long before you found yourself face to face with a giant spider of your very own! Spinarak at work! You stepped in its web and it was angry!

(o.o longer than I thought it would be xD)
