Well heres what happened after doing what i needed to do to recharge my gold (left it on for 100 hours and all that stuff) i saved and turned it off and there was continue then saved again turned off and contiunue wasnt there so i just made a new file tunred it off and on again then the continue was there again
so does anyone know what happened

Yes, there was, but it is more invasive. And I've never tried either of them, as my G/S/C cartridges still save perfectly. For details on how to change the battery, look at my post in the other topic; I'm not going to post it again. I'm sure you can find other people's methods via google, too...there has to be more than one way to change a battery - I've seen multiple ways, personally, and I didn't even look very hard.
