right. I may just be raising buzzwords, but I might as well get this out of my system.

At this point, there are tons of journeys in DD(I think), but only a few (7? 8?) moderators that are on frequently. That makes it inevitable you'll have to wait at least two days for a reply. Although you can ask for a reply after three days, there's a moderate chance that that topic will be ignored too :sweatdrop: . even if it gets noticed, youl have to wait at least four days. For every reply. Generally, this makes the story crawl along at the speed of frozen mollasses, and when you're going for an epic story, that can kill sites. I don't know any solutions, but I thought I might as well bring it up. That is, if this topic isn't ignored as well.

There. feel free to warn me if that sounds like nitpicking, but I've seen sites like this die because of slow pace before.

I guess Joan could try to hire more staff?

A few of our old moderators have not returned since the RPG came back. I wanted to wait until the RPG was up for a little while before deciding whether to hire any staff. I may do so after I return from vacation. If I do decide to hire staff, I'll make an announcement so people can apply.

why don't you bring back when people chose there mod that might make it easier to get a reply

That just makes it more confusing for the moderators.

When I was moderating(and I may try out again) it was a lot easier just to go down the list every day.

Yeah and when people chose their mods some people got replies like every 5 minutes and others got a reply 1 time a week. You have to realize that some of the mods. (Myself not included <.<) have lives outside the computer and do not sit in front of their computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks out of the year! Yes it may take a bit for a reply but complaining NEVER helps.

well ya something has to be done though Its crazy bugheart hasnt gotten a reply and he went on vacation on the 3rd day lol
Im getting enough replies myself but no one has updated my evolving post to evolve my pikachu (i have a thunderstone) and i havent gotten my egg
but as a site owner my self i know whats going on too many people too little mods and admins
(not that its ever happened to me i never get alot of members)
