Title: The Worst Day Ever...

Eeveelution - July 24, 2007 04:38 PM (GMT)
1st: I woke up with a stomach ache.
2nd: My cat wouldn't get up from our kitchen floor...
3rd: ...After that, my mom got her perfect white nurse shirt all covered in blue dots
4th: My mom took our cat to the vet, and a hour later my mom came home crying because our cat may die!
5th: He is now in surgery and we don't know if he is going to live!
6th: For the fact I'm only 10, this is really scary. REALLY. I hope Sydney lives. Who's Sydney you ask? My cat. The dying one. At least I still have another, Iggy. Iggy Pop Tart. Named after Iggy Pop.

It feels like i'm in some dream with 100 Sableye using Draem Eater. The other 900 using Nightmare. Well, I'll update with news if he dies or not. I hope the latter.

That day quite simply, sucks. Hope your cat lives.

As an optimist would say: look at the bright side! Tomorrow will be better. (It can't be much worse)

Eeveelution - July 24, 2007 05:07 PM (GMT)
Thanks! The vet called and he's living so far. We still won't know from 1 hour from now to maybe tommorow if he lives of not! Well, we will have to wait... and wait... and WAIT.

I hope you're cat will be allright. But today can't be the worst day ever because it's my birthday. Okay, seriously though, good luck with your cat.

I love my cats, and I could feel your pain to know what that's like. I've felt the pain of a cat dying before.
We had to put him outside for biting, then we were driving to church and we hit something. My sister looked back and saw that it was the cat, still alive. When Mom took him to the vet she found out that his lung was out of place and he'd probably die if we didn't get a tube shoved through him. She didn't want him to suffer like that, and when she drove home he was coughing up blood, and immeadiatly died.

Alma Altars - July 25, 2007 02:55 AM (GMT)
I just saw many, many cats today. Not in a pet store or anything, just in general. I never see cats, and everywhere I went today, there was a cat or two. I feel sorry for you. I will pray for your cat and your family. Your cat to make it to heaven safely and your family to be comforted. (If anyone who reads this is not religeous, ignore the heaven and praying and that all.)

Rest in peace, kitty. :(

I found this in the newspaper a few years ago.

The Rainbow Bridge

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.  It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge, there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.  There is always food and water and warm spring weather.
The old and frail animals are young again.
Those who are maimed are made whole again.
They play all day with each other.
There is only one thing missing; they are not with their special person who loved them on Earth.
So each day, they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly looks up!
The nose twitches.  The ears are up.  The eyes are staring.  And this one suddenly runs from the group.
You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace.
Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.

Aww, Joan, that made me cry... I feel your pain for the death of your cat. I know exactly how it feels. I hope your other cat to live a long and full life. There's some things you just can't avoid.
