Eclipse walked down the old path, beautiful willows blown by a gentle breeze. The air was crisp and fresh, and felt wonderful on Eclipse's sore, delicate skin. She took a deep breath, taking in all the lovely scents.
Lunarstar followed beside her, taking in the scents and sights too. It was great place. Afterall, Autumn was Eclipse's favorite season, with Winter second. Her lush, green eyes gazed upon the landscape. It was a joyous day, and this forest scared her not a bit.

Eclipse lightly grabbed her crystal pendant. It still held her Mother's beautiful scent... A pang of sadness and memory swept over her. She missed her parents so much... But that's what her destiny was. To find Nanami, and ask for her help to restore Humanitiy and Pokemon together once more.

Her long, black claw-like nails let go of the crystal, dropping down to stroke Lunarstar, her Ralts. Ralts embraced her master, for they had a long history together...

A poochyena came bounding up to you snapping at the pendant hanging around your neck. After a good dozen tries it finally snapped. Poohyena tired out and went berserk. flipping and jumping it decided to start to back away and make an escape.

((OOC: sorry didn't read it. usually people just say what pokemon they want. a lot of good roleplayers post a description leading to their choice.))

Eclipse became enraged. This was her favoriote dress, the one her mother gave to her before she died. Being so angry, but still knowing she had a type disadvantage, she attacked. "Lunarstar, use Psychic!" She commanded. Ralts jumped, and began to glow a light purple. The Psychic attack went for the canine...

... and did nothing. Psychic attacks do not affect Dark type pokemon like Poochyena. Poochyena begins to laugh, falling to the ground and rolling back and forth on it's back.

[[LOL. I can't believe I forgot that. xD Well, then... I dunno what to do. o.O Wow. I feel stupid. xD]]

Eclipse growled and slapped her forehead. How could she forget Psychic didn't hit Dark? What was wrong with her? Probably the lack of food...

"Ralts, use Magical Leaf!" She instructed to her Ralts. Her little hands began to glow, and then sharp, cutting leaves shot towards the Poochyena. There was no way it could miss; Magical Leaf always hit.

Indeed, the attack hit, putting an abrupt end to Poochyena's laughing. Looking a bit dazed, it got up and shook the remaining leaves off itself. Its cheerful mood long gone, Poochyena let out an angry bark as it tackled Celestial. Luckily, it was not a straight head-on hit, because Poochyena's anger lowered its accuracy. Celestial suffered only slight damage and quickly regained her footing. Poochyena skidded to a halt and turned around, ready to attack again.

Celestial stood proud. After using a confusing Double Team, she used a ThunderPunch.
"Wonderful, Lunarstar. Keep it up!" Eclipse cheered.
Ralts' hands glowed yellow, then thunder wrapped around them.

I must reach Ethereal Realm...I must as fast as I can. And on the way, I will become stronger... She thought to herself. Lunarstar obviously read the thoughts, and her power seemed to...increase.

Poochyena tried to dodge it, but the small scratched from the Magical Leaf slowed it down and it was 'zapped' by Ralts' Thunderpunch.

Shaking off the attack, Poochyena rushed forward and used Bite on Ralts' arm, making it screech in pain. Dark attacks are super effective against Psychic, ya know. :P

Yeah, I know. xD I just hope she can make it.

"Lunarstar!" Eclipse yelled. She ran to her side. The small Psychic creature looked up at her, and shook her head. Ralts stood, and shook hersef once more to rid the attack.

Standing up, Celestial's little hands began to freeze. Snow drifted around her, and she charged to the Poochyena once more.
"Icepunch!" Eclipse ordered.

Celestial's brave attack hit perfectly. With a yelp, Poochyena was knocked to the ground. For a moment, it looked like it might not get back up. But after a short delay, Poochyena began kicking up dirt. It was Sand Attack, only with dirt. Nevertheless, the attack fulfilled its purpose. Celestial's accuracy was lowered somewhat, and the Ralts was now very dirty.

Celestial became angry. She didn't like getting dirty. Not at all.
Eclipse knew this by the waves emitting from her.
"Use another Icepunch! Let's finish it off!"
She called to Ralts, who was already charging toward the canine. With an angry aura, she ran toward the Poochyena.

*smack* That had to hurt! The pup was sent flying and crashed to the ground with a thud, fainted. The battle ended just as quickly as it began, and Lunarstar gained a level! Though it was only one step on the beginning of a long journey, the future looked bright for you and Lunarstar.

Eclipse smiled as Lunarstar ran over to her.

"You did wonderful, Lunarstar." She said, stroking her. She reached into her hidden pocket, pulling out 2 rare candies.

"Here. Eat these, okay?" Eclipse told Lunarstar. The Ralts took the candies, and ate them happily.

The rare candies take immediate effect, raising Ralts' level by 2!

While you're feeding your Pokemon, a sinister shape approaches. It's a Meowth, and it attacked!

Wonderful... A Persian would be handy.

"Alright Lunarstar. Are you ready for another battle?" Eclipse asked Lunarstar. With a happy nod, Ralts walked over to face her opponent.

"Okay. Ready, Lunarstar?
Use a Focus Punch!" Eclipse ordered.
This fighting move should do some good damage, since Fighting is super-effective on Normal...

Ralts seemed to be taking a terribly long time to focus, and in that time the Meowth had heaps of time to launch a strong scratch attack, hitting dead-on and hurting your Ralts. Your Pokemon could not launch the attack, and retreated back to you and looked up as if it wanted another command. And fast, too.

Eclipse snarled. This would be harder than she thought...
"Alright, Lunarstar. Let's try an Icepunch!" Eclipse ordered.
Ralts' little hands began to freeze, small snowflakes twirling 'round them. She began to run at the Meowth, ready to attack.

Your ralts ran forward as fast as those tiny little legs could carry it. Its fist positivily brimming with icy goodness :) The attack smacked right into the meowth's face and caused a nice deal of damage and froze it to boot! Your lucky day!

Eclipse grinned. The fight was turning around.
"Great job, Lunarstar! Try a Firepunch!" Eclipse ordered.

Ralts' rubbed her hands together as they became aflamed. She waited until they were even making her little helmet hot before strating her little sprinting again. xD

The Firepunch did good damage, but sadly, the fire in the Punch was so great it melted some of the Meowth's hand. The Meowth seemed to react to this, and deprately started clawing thin air with it's small hand.

(Sorry. I can't defy the elements :/)

Lunarstar jumped out of the way, and began to charge up a Psychic. Her entire body glowed with an erie, purple aura. She swayed her hands in circular motions, waiting to strike her attack.

"Great job, Lunar. That attack should get it good..." Eclipsed prayed.

Ralts' Psychic attack nearly faints that cat-like pokemon. Now thawed out, Meowth unleashes a Scratch, powered up a bit by it's Technician ability.

"Lunarstar, you're doing great! You Psychic one more time, and finish it off!" Eclipse encouraged her Ralts.
Ralts nodded, and began charging once more, the purple aura becoming stronger every second.

Meowth was hit by the psychic, but for some reason it wasnt as effective as before. But Meowth couldnt get up. Maybe now was a good time to capture the cat pokemon, if you wished.

Eclipse smiled. It was about time she got a Meowth of her own... She reached into her hidden pocket, pulling out a small white and red ball. With a click, it enlarged. She threw the ball as it bounced upon the Meowth, a red stream of energy engulfing the Pokemon, bringing it into the ball. Eclipse waited patiently for the 3 rings...

The Pokeball stopped moving and with a "ping" noise, you knew that the Meowth was caught. As you clipped the Pokeball to your belt, you smiled, feeling happy about your accomplishment. Who wouldn't? Looks like you've caught female, level 5 Meowth! Would you like to give her a nickname?

"I think I'll name you...Snowcrystal." Eclipse smirked. Could this day get any better? She picked up Lunarstar, hugging her. "You did a wonderful job, Lunarstar." "Ralts..." Eclipse continued down the Willow-lined path, small, cool breezes occasionally refreshing her skin. She lifted a delicate hand, pulling back her long, lush silver hair. Her green gaze looked around, wondering what she would encounter next. She sighed. I need to find Nanami eventually...She's the only way I can avenge my parents.

As you continue to walk down the path, you notice a little girl crying on the side of the path. You walk over too her too see whats wrong, but the girls wasnt in the mood for talking... more in the mood for fighting.

"ARGH! YOU want to know whats wrong? All the trainers around here just... suck! None of them are a challenge" She screams. She then notices one of your pokeballs. "Say... your a pokemon trainer, arent you! Lets fight, lets see if your better than those other losers! Go, Mankey!!"

Eclipse stood back, not very surprised. "Alright, then... This will be wonderful practice." She replied, lifting one of her Poke' Balls. This will be easy... "Okay, let's go, Fireheart!" Eclipse called, throwing out her Pokemon. There was a flash of light, and a beautiful, reddish-brown Vulpix stretched. Her six tails flared as she prepared herself for battle. "Vul..." She barked quietly, getting into a fighting stance.

The girl wastes no time. "Mankey, let's finish this one quick. Use Low Kick." Mankey nodded and thrusts its leg into the air, taking out Vulpix's legs with only a little bit of damage being done.

Fireheart was caught off guard, falling to the ground. She quickly took her place once more, her claws unsheathed as a growl rrumbled. "Fireheart... Use Flamethrower." Eclipse ordered. The Vulpix collected breathes, fire forming within her mouth. After only a few seconds, the cedar-red fox unleashed a blazing stream of fire towards the monkey creature.

Vulpix ponders throwing fire at the Mankey. Well, that's a dumb idea; even with its inborn flame resistance, that's going to hurt if it does it with its bare paws. (Okay, so they technically aren't bare. Yay for fur! :XD:) So it makes an impromptu catapult out of a stick, two rocks, and a can of...green beans. All right-y then. :crazy: Then it sets the green beans on fire and launches them at Mankey. O_o

Well, it works, I guess.

Mankey uses Scratch on Vulpix. Though where it got the beatbox is a mystery...

Vulpix takes the hit, standing her ground. She shakes off the damage, preparing for her next move. "Excellent, Fireheart Don't give in..." It only took Eclipse a few minor seconds to decide her next attack. "Fireheart, use Fire Blast!" She instructed, pointing towards the Mankey. Vulpix didn't take a minute to pause, releasing a powerful blast of flames in the direction of the Mankey, hoping to deal a good set of damage.

Vulpix blasts Mankey with fire. Which isn't quite as efficient as killing it with fire, but it still does some damage. Less than it would if it was a move closer to its level, but it does damage, at least.

Mankey takes a swig of liquor and lurches toward Vulpix. It meant to use Swagger, not Stagger, but in the end, I guess it has the same effect. Vulpix is definitely confused. O_o And its attack goes up...somehow.

Eclipse's eyebrows bent in frustration as she sighed. 'This is probably going to hurt her in the end, but...' Eclipse really had no other ways to fix her Vulpix's confusion, other than switching her out. But Fireheart needed the practice... "Fireheart, use Overheat!" She insructed. The Vulpix, attempting to keep its posture, began to glow an orange-red aura. It prepared to launch its attack. Who it would attack, Eclipse was unsure.

There was a great burning flash, then what sounded like a small explosion... and silence. Fireheart blinked, unharmed. Mankey, however, was not so lucky. Fireheart's attack landed a critical hit, thoroughly charring the little primate. Who wants monkey meat for dinner? But there was no time to ponder such things, because Mankey's trainer was now irate.

"This... is unacceptable! I cannot... will not lose here and now! Play time is over!" She angrily threw a pokeball, and out popped a Jigglypuff. Jigglypuff smiled at you and stared with its big bluish purple eyes.

A dark grin spread across Eclipse's lips as she spoke. "Oh, it's over alright..." She clenched her Poke' Ball, holding it in the direction of Fireheart. "Return, Fireheart..." She beckoned, mumbling compliments and praise as the fox was summoned to its ball.
She looked up to the trainer before her, emeralds glaring with ambition. Her fingers grasped another ball, revealing it from her palm as she unleashed it.
A small human-like creature stood before the pink fluff, it's head hidden by a light shade of green. The Ralts looked up to its master, waiting for an order.

"Lunarstar, please use Psychic..."

Lunarstar and the Jigglypuff attempt to stare the other down. When no movement is seen from either, Jigglypuff whips out her Microphone! But Lunarstar is too quick! The Psychic hits Jigglypuff before it can say a single note! Stunned and dazed, Jiggly looks around, now angry, to its trainer, who seems none to concerned! He nods approvingly at the Jigglypuff, who now waddles over to Lunarstar. With a loud "PUUUUUFF!" it points to where it was hit with the Psychic and looks at Lunarstar angrily. Lunarstar looks puzzedly at Jigglypuff, but then kisses Jigglypuff's boo-boo, but not before being Confused!

Eclipse slightly sneered to herself, a bit irritated that Ralts would be so foolish as to believe that trip... She pushed it away, focusing back onto the battle. "Lunarstar... Brush it off and use Magical Leaf.." She commanded. The small being put her hands to her temples, her hands glowing a faint green aura. She powered up, ready to use the unevadable attack...

What a magical disaster. Leaves fly everywhere except toward Jigglypuff. Most of them are directed toward Ralts itself, but you struggle to avoid the few coming at you, to no avail. Ouchies. They're magically delicious painful! You could use a lucky charm. :XD:

Of course, Jiggly gleefully steps up to the microphone when Ralts's effort fails. In fact, it starts singing a duet, all by its lonesome! "It's priest, have a little priest!"

"Is it really good?"

"Sir, it's too good at least!"

Well, enough of that. You couldn't understand it anyway, since it was in Jigglish. :XD: Anyway, enter Sandman! (Maybe the Jigglypuff should've sung Metallica instead.) Ralts be a sleepy Pokemon indeed. :pikasleep:
