I have three questions for you regarding Version II.
1. I noticed that the battles were not very mechanically detailed (for example, when I battled a :vulpix: yesterday, the only thing given to me was its name, not its level, moves, or anything else). This could result in large differences; for example, knowing the moves of an opponent could greatly alter the strategy of the trainer. Will this change?
2. Are there any Pokémon which cannot be caught in any area of the RPG, or are they all there... and hiding?
3. Finally, a multiple choice question for you.
Last year, I asked a question about bans, and I was told that they lasted forever -- but the question remains, which kind of forever is it? When is a banned person allowed back on the site?
A) Until the mods forget about it (5 to 10 years)
B) Until the end of the trainer's life (60 to 100 years)
C) Until the site takes over the world (200 to 500 years, maybe) LOL ZOMG!! :P
D) Until the next big bang!!! (1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years)
Kindly yours,

I missed this topic somehow.
1) The battle system is the same as before for now. I may make changes to it once I get all the other important things in place, like Pokemarts. Besides, I think I've confused people enough for now with all the other changes. But at the same time, I don't want to make the battle system so detailed that it's like a math test. *hisses at math*
2) Pokemon are not restricted to any certain areas. Even legendaries live out there somewhere, though they aren't likely to be found. If you're looking for a certain Pokemon, your best bet is to go on the route that matches its type. But you might still find it on other routes, too.
Even in the desert of Pyro Dunes, you could find a Magikarp if you happen to find an oasis along your journey. But Magikarp are much more common in a wet place like the Cephal Ocean.
3) Bans last until the end of time, or until I decide to unban them... which has never happened yet.

Why would you want to know this? This completely ruins the point of devising strategy! You don't know what attacks it can use, or its strength, so you need to think about all the possibilities!
Just my two cents...
