Title: Me ˘ľ Willow Way
Helion-Turox - July 6, 2007 10:33 AM (GMT)
After having crossed the mysterious bug infested "Life", I decided to head towards enlightenment, towards achieving perfect happiness by virtue of whcih he managed to step on the Willow way. With my sights set on capturing all the so called gaurdians a term which i had only heard in the Anime "Digada Defenders", i rushed down the broaded way when......
Magmabuzz - July 6, 2007 03:53 PM (GMT)
...you notice a mushroom nearby. You head over to pick it up, and it moves! Further inspection concludes that it is a :paras: . It looks groggily at you before scratching you hard on the leg, causing you to yelp in pain. Not a very nice Paras, is it?
Helion-Turox - July 7, 2007 03:29 AM (GMT)
As i took out my pidgeotto from my pocket, i had only one thing in my mind and that was to beat that paras. But before that, i had to carry out a formality, a formality which was handed upon me by my mother. I looked into my checked bag and within one second broke the 100 kg cookie which was specially baked to feed the wild pokemons.
"Pidgeotto, can you step little back, please. Our little guest might be feeling a little weird."
With those words, i took one part of the cookie, darted towards to paras and offered it.
Magmabuzz - July 7, 2007 04:29 PM (GMT)
Paras refused the cookie, instead using Spore on Pidgeotto. Nighty night! Pidgeotto begins to coo softly in it's sleep, and Paras takes the opportunity to get in a scratch attack. Not very good damage there.
Helion-Turox - July 8, 2007 05:05 AM (GMT)
I wasn't at all in a hurry to get into a fight with that paras as i had to complete another formality of mine. This time, i had to persuade the Wild, my best enemy number 1, to come into my friendly party as my mother always used to say, "heart comes before fist." I, slowly crawled my way towards that paras and uttered the following words...
"Do you want to join into my friendly party?"
Silverpelt - July 8, 2007 09:05 AM (GMT)
The Paras thought about it for a few moments, and then it decided it would Spore you as well. But good for you, the Spore only managed to hit your feet, and it looked a bit angry at that.
Helion-Turox - July 9, 2007 02:53 PM (GMT)
All the formalities had been completed by that time and by that time an awful itch had managed to develop in my hands. I really didn't know the reason for the itch but i was very much anxious to get my hands on that papas. With no time to spare, i commanded my Pidgeotto to heat up the battle with a slightly weak gust attack.
Magmabuzz - July 9, 2007 04:07 PM (GMT)
Pidgeotto rubs it's eyes with it's wings, and is awake! That was quick.
"Pidgeotto!" Pidgeotto calls, flapping it's wings in mid air to blow a tornado like gust at Paras. Blowing your hair back as well, the gust smashes into Paras, doing some 4x super effctive damage. Paras uses
Helion-Turox - July 12, 2007 03:26 AM (GMT)
For the first time in my life i hadn't seen a pokemon use any move. It was a bit strange scene but i was very happy with what had happened. Atleast my pidgeotto didn't have to suffer like i had to. Even if the paras hadn't used anything, i wan't going to let it go for away so easily so i told pidgeotto to attack with the help of the grains of sands that laid on the forest floor in the form of a sand attack.
jtthechamp - July 12, 2007 04:36 AM (GMT)
paras immediatly put up his claws in defense to the sand but it was too late, sand had already entered his eyes. Blindly Paras used a poisonpowder attack followed by a slash.Amazingly both attacks hit. Pidgeotto was hurt by poison.
((OOC:Sorry not very creative right now.))
Helion-Turox - July 14, 2007 09:10 AM (GMT)
Without thinking of the effects caused by the two mighty attacks, i grumbled up a quick plan and asked my pidgeotto to fly just above the paras.
"Pidgeotto, when you are just above the paras, dive down straight at it with maximum speed and tackle it. Then fly back and use a gust."
Magmabuzz - July 16, 2007 03:50 PM (GMT)
Pidgeotto lunges forward, doing some okay damage. Paras reacts with a Spore. Pidgeotto has fallen asleep. The Gust attack that you called for does not happen as Pidgeotto falls to the ground fast asleep.
Helion-Turox - July 17, 2007 03:38 PM (GMT)
Oh...oh...
Pidgeotto was my best option that i had to battle against the paras and now with the downtown of my pidgeotto, i don't have any strong pokemons. Nevertheless, i had to make the pidgeotto awake by some kind of tricks.
Unable to think of any thing to wake that pidgeotto up, i decide to go infront of of that pigeon and hell out the following words.....
Me: Pidgeotto, wake up buddy. You have a very fresh meal infront of you. Wake up and grab it, before it flinches.
Fire Starter - July 17, 2007 10:56 PM (GMT)
Your pokemon simply flinched a bit and rolled over in its sleep. Almost saying "5 more minutes mommy!" so yeah. that failed.. Your pidgeotto was still sleeping soundly and paras' scratch attack hits dead on! little damage there though...
Helion-Turox - July 18, 2007 03:31 AM (GMT)
No, no it couldn't be. 5 minutes was not at all a short period of time. I didn't want to lose the battle, nor did i want to call back pidgeotto. But the condition in which pidgeotto was, forced me to, call it back and call out my mighty seel.
Me: Seel, go forth and ascent upon that paras with a head butt.
Hawkstorm - July 19, 2007 12:45 AM (GMT)
Seel was released in a flash of light, and it rolled a few times before headbutting the Paras. Paras flinched, and backed away from the seal pokemon.
Helion-Turox - July 19, 2007 10:48 AM (GMT)
Seel had all the qualities that would make a perfect pokemon and i wished that it would soon evolve into a Dewgong. With a pride filled voice, i stepped in front and commanded my seel yo attack with water pulse.
Hawkstorm - July 19, 2007 08:04 PM (GMT)
The Water Pulse hit, but Paras didn't seem to be hurt much from it. And to top it all off it wasn't confused. Ah well. Paras used a Scratch attack, that did a little damage to Seel, but not too much to matter.
Helion-Turox - July 21, 2007 10:22 AM (GMT)
Me: Are you alright seel?
Seel: seel seel....
Me: Thank god that the paras only used a scratch attack. But don't worry, we are going to defeat that paras no matter what it takes. For the time being, lets attack it with hail attack and follow it up with a protect to protect yourself for the attack that the paras uses.
jtthechamp - July 25, 2007 03:14 AM (GMT)
Quickly it started to hail pelting Paras in the head Paras turned onto his back and used growth as he tried to protect himself. Seel Used protect as Paras tried to use a scratch attack.Due to protect scratch failed.
Helion-Turox - July 26, 2007 11:54 AM (GMT)
"Seel, its time to take control of the situation."
"The enemy is weak and its time to finish off the battle,"
"Go forth and head butt the seel and seal of its faith with a ice beam."
Silverpelt - July 28, 2007 02:46 AM (GMT)
The Paras looked pleadingly at you, but it was too late for that.As Seel launched the Ice Beam, the Paras braced itself, but it was in vain, as the Ice Beam shot straight past it's face. It seemed to happy to attack again, leaving your Seel yet another chance to finsih off the pathetically weak Paras.
(Had to do that XP)
Helion-Turox - July 28, 2007 06:29 AM (GMT)
A paras was in my list of catchable pokemons but i wanted to raise the level of my seel for the next battle. So, as always i commanded my paras to speed up at the paras on the act of climbing a waterfall. In short,
"Paras use waterfall."
Fire Starter - July 28, 2007 03:07 PM (GMT)
The paras put up a big and quick scratch attack just to damage your pokemon one last time. The waterfall managed a big waterfall and it was killed off. Dead bug time! :<
Your seel gains a level! I guess pidgeotto does too <.< lazy sleepeh birdeh.
Helion-Turox - July 29, 2007 05:10 AM (GMT)
Yah, first victory on the willow way.
I had finally managed to win my first match, but the win could not dispell, the pain i had seen in the eyes of the paras. I really didn't want the paras to suffer, but everythings fair in love and war. Nevertheless, i took out a cake from my Bag and walked on to the paras to feed it.
Fire Starter - August 4, 2007 12:54 PM (GMT)
(did I ever update your levels :< *cant remember*)
The paris was dead and gone :( waste of time really. :/ But before you made it even 3 steps you were attacked by a grass type pokemon. And a weird one at that o.O
The opposing pokemon was.. bellsprout. mmm Training fodder :P
Helion-Turox - August 4, 2007 02:10 PM (GMT)
[I think you have updated it- I guess so. I can't remember it either]
Well, a training fodder was what i was waiting for, for a whole time. Without wasting any of my training time, i nested on to the bellsprout with the ultimate nesting power of my wingull.
Wingull go, attack with a supersonic attack.
Tenshi - August 4, 2007 02:36 PM (GMT)
Wingull swooped down at the Bellsprout and used Supersonic. Your Wingull's Attack had missed the Bellsprout completely, but Wingull was still doing it's best, it was not keen on giving up so easily. Wingull tried Supersonic Attack again and this time succesfully it managed to hit the Bellsprout. The Bellsprout was now Confused. The Pokémon tried to use the attack "Vine Whip" but it failed as it was Confused. Though the effects of Supersonic was temporary, you tried to get as much Attacks in as possible.
Helion-Turox - August 6, 2007 11:07 AM (GMT)
My wingull at level 6 seemed to have a bit of an advantage, but i wouldn't be surprised to see the bellsprout steal a victory from me. With my sight set on the victory, a steel wing was the next attack that i commanded wingull to use.
Tenshi - August 6, 2007 11:12 AM (GMT)
"Gull!" Wingull cried out to you. Wingull flew into the air and watched the Bellsprout from above. Wingull then flew down at an amazing speed and used Steel Wing on Bellsprout. The Bellsprout fell back and was damaged a great amount again. Bellsprout was starting to gain it's vision back, and was not as confused. Bellsprout used Vine Whip and was successful as the move hit your Wingull.
Helion-Turox - August 6, 2007 02:12 PM (GMT)
"Wingull, its slowly coming to its state of mind. It would be better for us to make it idol again. Multiply yourself using a double team attack and strike the next attack, which is ice beam right at the bellsprout, so that the ice engulfs the bellsprout into its clutches."
Tenshi - August 6, 2007 02:38 PM (GMT)
Wingull nodded and suddenly there was at least 15 other Wingulls next to him. Bellsprout got confused and didn't know which one to attack when suddenly Wingull used Ice Beam. A large frosty beam of light shot down onto the weed Pokémon and damaged it's HP. Bellsprout was frozen for this turn due to the attack.
Helion-Turox - August 7, 2007 11:07 AM (GMT)
"Okay, wingull. The trick has worked for us this time."
"Do you still remember the frosty night during which you had used the ice beam. Its better not to remember all those unmemorable day."
"Lets get on with out match. Now generate electricity and make that bellsprout fuse out with shock wave."
Hawkstorm - August 7, 2007 06:43 PM (GMT)
Wingull generated Electricity, somehow, and sent the Shock Wave into Bellsprout. It cracked the ice left by the Ice Beam, and freed Bellspout. However, it sustained Damage from the attack as well.
With a puff of air from the Bellsprout, it used Vine Whip to, in a sense, Muzzle Wingull. O.o Your move!
Helion-Turox - August 8, 2007 10:54 AM (GMT)
"Ah," The trick had certainly worked. Electricity had conducted itself into the bellsprout. After the completion of a trick, i had another trick up my sleeve. This time, i charged upon my wingull to use a blizzard attack followed by a series of hails.
Hawkstorm - August 9, 2007 12:39 AM (GMT)
Wingull shook a little, and the slight shock from the static managed to let bellsprout release it's grip. Wingull let out the Blizzard, making the air a little frigid. Somehow, though, Bellsprout managed to avoid the attack O.o Ah well, the hail pelted it, and it was too busy blocking the hail to attack.
Helion-Turox - August 9, 2007 09:56 AM (GMT)
"Wingull, its now time for to finish off the battle. First fly right upwards bellsprout, and descent slowly and then ascent up. Meanwhile when you ascent down and up, throw of a mighty ice beam and follow it up with hidden power."
Hawkstorm - August 10, 2007 07:37 PM (GMT)
Wingull followed your instructions, and managed to pelt Bellsprout with both attacks. It staggered and then fell over, fainted. Wingull grew 1 level and .5 happiness!
Helion-Turox - August 12, 2007 03:03 AM (GMT)
"Yay...Wingull...We have finally defeated the charming bellsprout. I don't know whether you are satisfied or not, but i not yet satisfied with the battles." With the utterance, of those words, wingull and i ventured ourself again deep into the woods for another adventure.
Tenshi - August 16, 2007 12:02 PM (GMT)
You and your Wingull carried your Journey onwards as you began walking through the Forest. You heard voices in the distance, it was a Girl and her Budew, she saw you and came running up to you. "Um, would you like to battle?" She said in a polite voice.
