Title: FireRed hidden message?!
Akakentatsu - April 30, 2007 01:39 PM (GMT)
I have found something in FireRed's code. Only, and ONLY IF you agree to not use my name at all when talking about this, may you see it.
By highlighting this text, you agree to that term.
I was editing FireRed's script last night when I came upon an odd occurence. On data-line 0043EE70, there is the following script.

This freaked me out past my limits of weirded. There is extremely low chance of this being coincidental. And so if it WAS posted there on purpose, why? Could Nintendo have been keeping some secret from us all these years?

That's pretty weird. xD
My sister lost my FireRed.
Pokeologist - June 4, 2007 01:30 AM (GMT)
hahaha thats funny...
I wonder if it has to with the game......
Alma Altars - June 7, 2007 06:30 PM (GMT)
The only part that scares me even remotely is the SLAVE CHILD! part. Other that that, meh. Not much. I do wonder what it means.

This text could refer to Lostelle, the girl who has gotten lost on the Sevii Islands... but then again, you're searching for her, not her parents. What does this have to do with slavery exactly? It could be referring to the fact that Lostelle always wants to leave on journeys but always gets lost from home when she goes too far.
Hawkstorm - June 10, 2007 01:35 AM (GMT)
Wow, this is wierd.
It might refer to Lostelle.... OMG Her parents treat her as a Chils Slave?!? x3 j/k
The slave part also might refer to the fact you are being treading almost like a 'slave' when you have to go from island to island looking for her. Since you just started a journey and are, in terms, a kid, this might mean you are a Child Slave.
x3
Akakentatsu - June 10, 2007 02:00 AM (GMT)
Hm... I didn't think of the Lostelle part... Sounds reasonable.
Hawkstorm - June 10, 2007 02:46 AM (GMT)
Lol x3
But, also, you never know. Nintendo may have put it there as extra data to fill in the chip, and jsut left it so it was a glitchy part of the game.
Or they put it there so people can find it and go 'what's that there for?' Lmao
Akakentatsu - June 10, 2007 02:48 AM (GMT)
Well, the only way to access the code is to get an illegal rom, but i can't say much on that. And nintendo doesn't make money on that.
Hawkstorm - June 10, 2007 02:53 AM (GMT)
Yea, but still, they may like to have a laugh sometimes, even if it doesn't make them money.
Akakentatsu - June 10, 2007 02:54 AM (GMT)
I suppose... It could be like the supposed "SFX" dust clouds in Lion King.
