Title: Newer than New News
Description: eh... what?

Registrations are open again, this time for good. There is a new registration process in place. It's not incredibly complicated, but I'd rather not explain it here. :ghost:

Just a little changing around in the Neopets forums. The Neopets Art forum is now a subforum within Neopets Discussions. The Neopets Sprites subforum is now... non-existent. It can be added again if there is a need, but so far there isn't.

Once again, if you have suggestions or comments about revisions to the RPG, click the link in my signature and post there.

The skin in the arcade now matches the rest of the site. Hooray! Thanks to Fire Starter for changing it. :)

Believe it or not, I am making progress on the RPG. No visible changes have been made just yet.

Notice: Sometime this week, I intend to upload all the latest Pokemon sprites for us to use. However, with over 400 new sprites, I will not be able to upload them as emoticons as we have in the past. We have plenty of free space on the site, but my administrator control panel will not allow me to upload that many emoticons. The sprites will be uploaded to Photobucket and we will use the IMG tags to link to them. It's a bit more tedious than what we used to do, but it's the only way we can have all the sprites. I will try to make the urls easy to remember so that it doesn't become too daunting of a task to post Pokemon sprites. However, we can still use the male and female symbols and items as emoticons.

I just wanted to let everyone know so that there's no panic when Pokemon emoticons in your posts and signatures stop working suddenly. :P

I am at 114, so I would estimate that I am about 1/10th finished with uploading sprites.

The account is public for now, so you can view it if you'd like. There's nothing out of the ordinary on it... yet. Most of the male and female sprites so far are the same. For a few, I chose a different pose for male and female.

Each Pokemon has M or F at the end of its name (except genderless ones) to stand for male or female. So I don't want to have anyone telling me that "Vulpixf" is misspelled. It's simply a female Vulpix. :P

:o she is going to murder you in your sleep Suppi! lol.. *hides from Joaneh's Wrath*

I am aware of that. (OMG! Joan knows what's going on?! :XD: ) But I think this will be easier for everyone in the long run rather than trying to remember which Pokemon have different male and female sprites. I can do things the difficult way if I want to! *sends mongoose armies after Suppi and FS*

In real news, thanks to a suggestion by Hawkstorm, there is a new subforum within Pokemon Video Games to discuss and exchange wi-fi friend codes, so please post topics about them there from now on. If you don't know what that's all about, don't ask me because I don't know much about it, either. I'm still getting caught up on Gamecube games.
