Title: Poems Written for F-3

W.T. - April 5, 2007 12:38 AM (GMT)
F-3 is now up and running and has had its first meeting (the one that introduced "Faceachu"); we've got three active members, including a senior one, and we're only going to improve. Here is a poem from the "Fics" side of the F-3 club.

The Meditations of Marlene
A Poem
Written by W.T., 4/04/07

They say that every Pokémon has its own special place
In the world. Well, that's not something I can deny,
But what's with all the violence, the crime bosses who are
Trying to change this world? They are making everyone cry
When they try. Travelling near and far,
If I would see that trainer with the brave look on his face,
And meditate again, right there with him, on the scene,
Would I find a new peace? I wish that I could try
But he is passing on, gaining badges, and by and by,
I'm left here at the end of a road on all the world's stage.
And all of you, one fact left, for the way should be seen:
Meditation is peace. Who? Where? Why have we been?

You're welcome to review this, but the narrator in this poem actually exists -- at least in the Emerald version. And so...
We've got a quiz for you! You will become a senior F-3 member and will also get several recolours & custom sprites done for you if you can answer this question.
Marlene mentions the "end of a road" during this poem. What road does this refer to?
A. Route 101
B. Route 111
C. Route 115
D. Route 119
E. Victory Road

The first one to send in their answer will get the prize, so get it in quick! You can also review the poem, of course.

The poem is pretty good. Though I find it hard to follow in some places.

It is now confirmed that there will be eight poems in this sequence. The first four will introduce the four characters in the poems. The last four will tie up all the loose ends. Here's #2 for you. Weston is from the Battle Frontier and has been living the high life, but here reflects on his days as a junior trainer.

Weston and How it Used to Be
A Poem
Written by W.T., 4/06/07

Sunset over the buildings and high-walking lights:
It sometimes makes me reflect on the salad days
When I would walk through the grass on forest nights
Or take wildly different strolls down every beach.
I would hide in the trees and build homes in the rocks
And I was a man of the wilderness, for true.
But now... weeks pass through this Level 50 haze
And when I see the young ones, I say "Wish I was you..."
But I cannot give up this life out on the edge!
Some things we get only one chance to do.
We get older, we get quicker, we get to higher fights
And then again I go out to overlook the bays...
