When I was 5-6 years old, I had a craze for Pokémon (at the time all 151 of them). It was the show, the cards, the shirts, the marbles, the tattoos... and somehow, the one I put at the top of the list had always been :weepinbell:. Call me crazy! Strangely, though, I had never played a game until the age of 9, when I saw a friend with Colosseum. Needless to say, I bought it a week later and the rest is history.

I actually recieved red and blue version together at Christmas when I was real little. Gold is also my favorite because give it the new pokémon and graphics and it is the best. Does anyone know what I mean? There is so much to do on Gold/Silver, plus going back to Kanto. It's just packed full of things.

My brother showed me Blue. I loved it. Learned all the glitches and secrets. I still play it. LONG LIVE DMG-APAE-USA-1!!!!!!

*Searches Poll Choices Again* Nope, not there. My first was Yellow version. I got it used and when I first played it, the screen was flashing and I just kept walking around, not knowing that my Pikachu would soon faint of poison. :XD: Then I started a new game and actually figured everything out.

Umm... Sorry for forgeting lots of the games.

hahaahahah this probably explains why I'm more strategic than most people in DD lol I started playing Red version in 97 before the fad came into play; my friend Bobby introduced me to Pokemon at afterschool youth group by showing me the episode where Ash fights Misty for the Cascade badge and I slowly began to delve into the games after my stepfather gave me the red version for Christmas; at the time my favorite Pokemon was :machoke:. The whole Oak's parcel thing took me about a week to figure out but after that I just stormed through the games over and over getting better and better each time. Then I got me mits apon the Blue version about 4 months later and found the most psychotic erratic wickedly awesome Pokemon... yeah you guessed it Sandslash. I speant my elementery school years beating Pokemon Red; Blue; Yellow; Stadium; Silver; Gold in that order and then went to middle school where I played Ruby; my brother got Sapphire but I beat it for him the first time around; then when high school started I lost my Ruby and traded my friend Max for his Ruby since he never got farther than Roxxane (he's more of a Jak and Daxter person) since I have played with people who own Emerald and I have torn thru the Frontier; and traded like crazy with friends with Emerald and FR/LG and my brother's sapphire serves as a source of unaquirable pokes; TMs ect ect =3 basicly I've been a Pokemon freak for all 10 years it's been around in the US :P needless to say I ate up the fad but after it dulled down when Gold and Silver came out I still played on; my prized moment in any pokemon game was in my Silver version when I took my lvl 60 Sandslash to the Tin Tower (otherwise it was the burning one) and gave Ho-oh the smackdown ^^ now what became of my Red; Blue and Yellow? Well in 5th grade I was naive enough to mess with a gameshark and fried them; as for Crystal I did have that and played it but my main game was my Silver; but a noteable event in my Crystal is that I found a Pikachu that was green and had Celebi moves as well as a shiny Growlithe ^^

Hehe I got Red Version as my first. Ahh... The memory...

I had just bought like $100 worth of stuff at the store and gotten a limited Editon Tommy Hilfiger GB Color for like $50 added on. So, we went to the store and purchased my first game: Red Version. Although this wasn't the start of my pokemon craze, it was just a kindle the helped me into the passon I have for it now ^^
