Team Mudsparks
Chapter 1

Simeon woke up one day as he normally would, but this time was different. He had dreamt the night before of being asked questions about himself, and he had no memory of anything before that dream. He knew something wasn’t right, though, when a Torchic walked right up to him and… SPOKE!

“Are you alright?” The tiny fire Pokemon said.

“WOAH! What’s going on here?!” Simeon jumped up and backed away, but as he did, he realized he was doing so on four feet instead of two! “What?! Oh my gosh!” He looked down and saw them. Four small, blue paws were holding him up instead of his normal two, human legs! “What is going on here?! Am I still dreaming?”

“Um, no. Like I said before, are you okay?” The Torchic looked puzzled and she began to walk away, a bit scared by Simeon’s behavior.

“Wait!” Simeon shouted and ran to catch up with her. “Torchic! What’s goin’ on! What am I?!”

“Okay, first of all, my name’s Sparks, and you are a Mudkip. What’s your name and why are you acting so strange?”

“I am Simeon, and anyone would act like me if they were a HUMAN just yesterday!”

“Riiiiiight… Human… And I suppose you have no idea where Pokemon Square is, too.” Sparks said with unbelief.

“Pokemon Square?” Simeon said. “I’ve never heard of it. In fact, I can’t remember anything but a weird dream last night, and now this!”

“Hm…. We should go see Whiscash about this. I’m still not completely believing you, but if you’re serious, he should know something. Follow me!”

And so, Simeon and Sparks left to see Whiscash, hoping to gain some information on this strange occurrence.
