TNT has confirmed that this sidebar will be available at any time of the day from the Advent Calendar on December 31st... if you meet the requirements. The only problem is, even the people who got the sidebar last year can't figure out what those requirements are. It was given out in February of last year at the Advent Calendar.

There are many interesting theories out there, of course. For example:
1) You have to visit the Advent calendar every day in order to be eligible for the sidebar on the last day.
2) You have to miss one day of the Advent Calendar.
3) Must be carrying a certain number of neopoints. No one seems to have any idea how many.
4) Must be carrying "icy snowflake" (or possibly just any snowflake or snowball) when visiting the Advent Calendar. The December 15th Neopian Times editorial question that talked about the sidebar had three icy snowflakes beneath TNT's reply. A clue, perhaps?
5) Must be using a certain Neoboard avatar. Most people don't put a lot of faith in this theory, though.


What are your thoughts? I think the theory about the icy snowflake sounds the best. It's expensive, but I bought one. I'm going to carry an icy snowflake and a sticky snowflake and an evil snowball in my inventory and see what happens.
