Title: HTML in topic

How do you make something that you have written in html format, like a table, show up not in code in a topic?

You have to enable HTML for that forum, and also use a special code in the topic.
In the admin cp, under Forum Control, click on Manage Forums. Click Settings and choose yes for the option that says "Allow use of the doHTML tag?" and submit.
In your topic, use this code:
| CODE |
| [dohtml] Your HTML stuff here [/dohtml] |

You have to make sure that you have EVERY part of the table in html. or the whole thing will not show up. It is harder than it looks. Well for me at least lol.

The HTML part was easy for me. It is just, once I did that, the table didn't come up with borders, even though, when I did a normal preview the table worked. Maybe it is just the browser...

That is kind of strange. I'm really not sure what the problem might be without looking at the code. Sometimes it's just one little thing that got overlooked. That was my problem when I was creating the tables for the Neodex.

Well, when I tried it on a freewebs.com page it worked fine.
Oh, Sadsoma, if you need some help, I could check out the code for you.
