After finally beating Randall and reaching the valley, I walked odwn the path into the Valley humming a merry tune.

A guy stumbled out of the bushes beside you and grasped your hand. He looked at you for a while and then said, "You don't look so tough, show me your badge so I know you beat the gym leader." You show him your badge and he whistles. "Well, if she can't beat you... I sure can!"

I smacked my head and looked at the guy. "Ok I'll battle you, but first let go of my arm!" I shook my arm a little until he came off, then pulled out Typhs pokeball.

"My name is James!" the weirdo(as you decided to call him) declared. "The greatest trainer ever to battle!" As soon as you shook him loose, he darted forward and grabbed your hand again. o0

"Battle me, and watch my might crush you!"

Tossing a Poke Ball(wow, he had one) into the air, the maniac watched as it...clunked to the ground? What the...at the same time, a Diglett Dug its way underground and popped out, right under Typh's feet. "Diglett!" it cooed(obviously having no idea that it had just done a Dig attack, lol.)

Typh,. clealrly shocked by the unexpected attack, ran behind me.
" Oh..OK ok. Return Typh. Hmm now...I suppose let's go Ice!" I said swapping pokeballs. *Articuno :P*
Ice came out and it's wings shone in the sun. "Ok Ice, Ice Beam!"

Was that a good move, though? Legendary or no, the Diglett outranked Ice. James, apparently deciding to allow his Pokemon to do its thing, stepped back and began to do the banana dance. :banana: (Ignoring him looked like a good option.)

Meanwhile, the (infinitely more sensible) Diglett somehow kicked back into the ground, spraying rocks in Ice's face in a Magnitude 4. Wow. Unfortunately for it, the Ice Beam hit at the same time, so while the Articuno was dragged down into the dust, Diglett was left on the brink of fainting, only the high hit points of Ground Pokemon keeping it conscious.

xD Ice screeched at the Manigude (Although it did little to none due to types, but whatever xD)
"Ice! Let's try..another Ice Beam Attack!" Ice, clearly unhappy at this point, nodded and launched ice...

Manigude used a earthquake... stupid Pokemon. xD It missed Articuno. Your turn.

"Ice, Try using another Ice Beam. Maybe the Silly little mole will faint this time xD Or Meybe not. :ph43r: I dunno."c i siad and Ice giggled a little before aiming the attack.

Ice gathered up some snow that appeared right over it from no where. As Articuno formed a ball in its mouth and stream of ice came from it. The icy cold beam hit the little Pokemon. It used a dig attack, which made it go underground. Your turn.

I thought for a second, then had an Idea.
"Ice, Go Up to the other hole and send an Icy Wind into it!"
This, I hoped and thought, would flush out Diglett...Maybe O-o

Articuno used the attack and you could hear the Diglett screaming. It flew out the other hole and smacked into a tree. I falls to the ground and doesn't get back up. Your turn again.

I blinked a couple times, and tried to hold in my laughter. "Ehehe...Ok Ice...hehe..Use Ice Beam to finish it...hehehe....."

Your Pokemon use an Ice Beam, which you thought would finish it off but it seems tougher than that. It still has some strength left and is stuck in a big huge ice cube. (xD)

I laughed out loud this time, and the trainer eyed me wierdly. "Oh ok I'm done for now..hehe....Ok Ice, Wing Attack, and if that doesn't finish it use Ice Beam Again."

It took two attacks but the Pokemon finally came to the ground. The trainer sighed. "That was my only Pokemon..." he ran away in fright. You find laying on the ground in his spot $150 and a Pokeball. He could beat you, huh? You continue to walk along the trail and see this route's best known Pokemon. Pikachu.

I smiled. Pikachu was a cutie pokemon, but I already had plenty of Electric pokemon. So, I'd use it as training.

"Typh, let's go and use Ember on Pikachu!" Typh came out (And was happy to be out of it's ball FINALLY) and jumped up and down a few times before nodding, and sending embers in the way of Pikachu.

The Pikachu turned around and used a terrible Thunder attack on your Pokemon. It seemed to be enraged from being interupted from whatever it was doing. Though, it was hurting a bit from the ember the Thunder attack was pretty strong causing a great bit of damage.

I blinked at the power of the tiny pokemon, and shook my head. I had to focus...
"Typh, if you can still battle, use smokescreen, then find it and Tackle it."
Typh shook off the Thunder, but was a little unstable, and opened it's mouth to....

...spit out a smoggy-like substance. It rushes in and knocks Pikachu to the ground with Tackle. Pikachu tries to counter with thunder, but mistakes Typh with a tree trunk, burning it to ashes with an electrical power that you'd better be glad hit a tree trunk instead of Typh or worse... you!

I blinked as I looked at the ashes. "Eh....Let's try not go get hit Typh...OK?" I asked, and it nodded. "OK....Smokescreen again, then stand back and Ember into the Smog!"

Typh nods and spits even more smoggylike stuff. Pikachu attempts thunderbolt, but accuracy loss comes into effect this turn, causing it to miss the target. Ember makes Pikachu very weak... and burns it!

I smiled :D "OK Typh, finish it with another Ember attack!" I shouted, and Typh replied with a small "Cynd!" and opened it's mouth to spit out the embers.....

The Pikachu put it's tail around itself defencively, but your Pokemon easily defeated it with a ember attack. Your Pokemon runs back to you, and then cuddles your leg. But in the distance, you could see the outline of a human.

The person walked forward, and you noticed that it was a young boy, in farmers clothes, with a little Electrike by its side.

"Hello young laddie." The boy said. "You want to battle?"

I placed Typh back inside it's ball, and turned twords the boy.

"Sure, uh...laddie. I'd be glad to." I said pulling out Thunder's pokeball and Releasing her in a bright flash.

"Jolt!" she cried, shaking her sharp fur a little after being crammed in a pokeball for a while. She sat down, and we both awaited the boy's move.
