When trying to decide what kind of contest to have next, I realized that we've never had a fan fiction contest, which is odd considering how important writing is in a text-based RPG like this. So here it is. Impress us with your stories. ^_^

The Rules!

• Minimum length: 500 words. It may sound like a lot, but a 500-word story is not very long. If you are using WordPerfect, go to File --> Properties --> Information to see the number of words.
• Maximum length: No maximum.
• As with all contests, you cannot steal someone else's work and claim it as your own. Your stories must be written by you.
• The last day to submit entries is February 4. E-mail your entries to me at dragonairs.den@gmail.com or PM them to me. I prefer e-mail if possible.
• Each member may submit up to 2 entries.

Important Things to Consider

• The most important thing here is creativity!
• Spelling
• Grammar

If it is a chaptered fan fiction, does it HAVE to be completed? (as in, the story is finished and doesn't continue whatsoever)

No, the story doesn't have to be completely finished.

I normally don't post who's entered until a contest ends, but I'm judging this one myself, so it's no secret. I haven't read any of the entries yet. I just checked them all to make sure they meet the 500-word requirement. A couple of them were a little bit short, but I've contacted them to let them know. Yepp, I posted mine. It's a bit more than a thousand words. It didn't take me more than fifteen minutes to write down the basic idea, and another fifteen to write down the final copy. I'm quite pleased with it.

I sent my one in hope it's ok! But it is over 3000 words!

Now I have sent my entry, and I hope I get something for it!! (I know this is the last entry day, but I am like this. Always late!)

I don't think I can get my story done today. I just thought of a good plot. Ah, well.
